Family Trip Nice location and the Quality Inn and Econo Lodge are in the same building. You will also pay the same price I imagine for both. We got a good value on a suite and the sign said the hotel had recently been renovated. The room was clean but some of the furniture was older. Nice staff and breakfast was continental at this time due to COVID-19.

Unbelievably GROSS This is the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. Mold on the ceiling, rusty hinges on the door that barely closed, suspicious and disturbing other “stains and marks” in the walls and ceiling. If it weren’t for the mandatory evacuation due to hurricane Milton we would have NEVER stayed, but we had no option to move on with three dogs from south Florida. But this room (specifically 315) was so disgusting I had to try to just dismiss it in my mind to stay there! And then, I kept getting charges added to my bill several times a night! When I tried to address it with the RUDE woman at the desk she said she had no explanation and they would “go away” later! DO NOT STAY HERE

Sad trip made worse It all started with the check in. We were given 3 rooms that were not near each other. That was ok. Let’s first talk about our room. We were in town to bury my mother. So daddy and I shared a room. The motel was suppose to be remodeled, well it was kinda, sorta. Back to my room. It smelled like it used to be a smoking room but the the carpet was shampooed and left to dry, wet old smoke, with a touch of old dog, and a hint of urine that was very present between the beds. The beds were comfortable and clean. The rug was dirty. And you could tell when you looked at your socks. The bathroom. Let’s see. The tub still had the new sticker on it, that was not taken off, the toilet seat was new and falling off every time you sat down, you almost fell off. The door. Well closed and had a new handle but no hard ware. So would not stay closed. Thank goodness for wash cloths. The first night we had someone trying to break into our room. No luck. Thank goodness. Second night again someone tried to get into our room but this time they had a key to open the door. Thank goodness for the security locks. I opened the door and it was a family that was mistakenly given our room that we had been in two of four days. The next day we had 3 different associates come by the room to see if we were there. Somehow they had us in a different room. We did have to buy a candle just to cover the smell to stand the room all 4 days. The other 2 rooms were rehabbed but still not complete. One had no light bulbs and no power on the one side of the room. The other didn’t have any power but also had no smoke detector that was removed and wires cut. The electrical nightmare that was behind the kingsize bed was so bad, I’m surprised it did not burn the hotel down. It also smelled of medical card grade marijuana, coming from the air vent in the bath room. The associates were very nice but you can only put glitter on something so much before you call it brand new. We were in rooms 302, 316 and 320. Let’s say I would defiantly not recommend staying here ever.

Poor housekeeping, lousy internet After checking in, I tried to connect to the internet, never did work. Tried using a laptop and two different phones, none connected unless I left the room and went around the corner. Clerk was not very helpful in resolving. Fortunately, the cell signal is strong here for my att phone and the wife's Verizon. The entry door was very dirty as seen in the photo. I cleaned it with some soap and a wash cloth, a job housekeeping should have done. My wife had clean some in the bathroom and ended up with a very dirty washcloth too. The toilet seat is loose too. The bed seems ok and the a/c and the fridge worked well. Fix the internet dead spots and improve your cleaning and the place is ok.

Go elsewhere Total check in time about 50 minutes. First room 417 had a quiet AC but no light bulbs in the lamps. How can cleaning miss the light bulbs. Also, no refrigerator. Switched room to 419. Loud AC Hot water was a few degrees over warm. I had it all the way on hot and still needed it a lot hotter. Room looked clean but was not. Photo of wash cloth after I wiped headboard. (attached) Feet were black on bottom after walking bare foot for about 20 minutes. Took shower and saw black water running down the drain. Put socks on. Left them in the room black when I left. Big gap under the door. Hot air coming in. (I put 2 pillows down to block it) Trash all over the back parking lot. 3AM when I left because of the outside light coming into the room causing me not to sleep, parking lot was quite busy. Cars coming in and out. 3 people sitting on their car drinking.
