Choice Hotel meeting minimal service SURPRISE! There’s a $100.00 deposit on every room. Even though we’re Gold in We told a deposit was required for this hotel for incidentals. (In case we smoke, break anything or whatever) it is not a written policy that you would see online when you book. This is not a corporate policy. It’s a single hotel management policy. This is our 3rd or 4th stay at this hotel and never had to leave a deposit. I HOPE YOU CAN READ SPANISH. because the microwave is in Spanish. (I couldn’t read Spanish so I used the pictures) The pool is not senior friendly. You have to use only the handrails to climb into the pool.

Rooms sucked, house keeping sucked. Front desk was awesome .My family and myself stayed in this hotel for a month The best part of the hotel was the nice Lady at the front desk named Kristie. She was super sweet and handled every issue in a timely manner and she was always super friendly and made my family feel very welcome. As for so Thank you for being such an amazing person and making our stay great

Save your money - only for emergencies BAD: Weird hotel. Very basic price. My girlfriend and I stayed there and were disappointed. She was given a room with bug in it. Carrie at the front desk could care less so probably a normal thing for that property. She was drinking, walking around drunk, making sex jokes.I guess she has a bar in her room, we weren't interested. Terrible customer service. There are better hotels in the area for the price. OK/GOOD: The night staffer Marcell was a cool dude, VERY helpful, more professional. Our breakfast was decent and we were close to the highway. That's the ONLY reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1! Next time I'm booking the room, not my lady! Only stay here for an emergency!

Seriously disappointing Was in town for a funeral. We have stayed here many times prior. As always the front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. I arrived at about 1pm. Asked if my room was ready and was totally prepared for them to say no and to return later. The front desk clerk went upstairs to speak with housekeeping. Upon return I was informed that my "newly renovated room was clean and ready to go". I should say that this hotel is clearly being renovated. I get that. Hotels need to be renovated. I was actually kind of excited to see what they had done. Love the new color scheme. The carpet in the hallway is very stylish. However, that is as far as this renovation has gotten. By newly renovated they mean they put in new carpet and had an amateur come in to paint. I have a 12 year old niece that could have done a better job on the painting. Now on to housekeeping. Mind you, the front desk clerk specifically asked house keeping about my room and was told it was clean and ready for a new guest. I am posting photos with this review. We had a double queen suite with a sofa bed. When we got to the room it was clear there was no mattress on the sofa bed as the cushions were sunk down in the sofa. Housekeeping came by and installed the mattress. It looked clean but there was no mattress cover or bedding of any kind on it. I found the linens for the sofa bed in the closet. The blanket was filthy. Not just dirty but filthy. The pillowcase clearly had not been changed. There was make up and what appeared to be juice on it. The sheets had blood on them in more than one spot. Someone had actually taken the linens off the bed and instead of sending them to laundry they simply folded them neatly and put them in the closet for the next guest. I took them down to the front desk and she could not apologize enough. I got clean linen and a new blanket. The blanket had a huge tear in the corner. This newly renovated room had a toilet seat that slid when you sat on it. The furniture looked like it had not been wiped down in a year. It was all nicked and battered. The light switches were dirty and there was a coating of dust on everything. I was truly disappointed. My pet peeve is dirty hotel bathrooms. the sink and toilet were clean but the tub was stained and there was an orange film in it. The wall of the shower had something one it and someone had picked their nose and wiped it on the wall next to the toilet. This hotel cleaning staff is clearly in need of a lesson in "guest ready" room. There was popcorn on the floor and the bathroom floor was dirty. Not sure if I will stay again. One last thing---I get why hotels have bright lights on the outside of the buildings. I don't get why they have such a hard time hanging drapes that close all the way. It is very difficult to sleep with a crack of bright light coming through the window. For goodness sake how hard is it to use one blackout panel that runs the entire width of the window!!! To the management of this property---stop telling people the rooms are newly renovated when all you did was put in new carpet and poorly paint the walls. I also want to add that when I went down to the desk to explain what was going on there was another couple there trying to get a room for the night. They were told that they were booked solid. Nothing available. After hearing my situation she asked if we wanted to be moved. Where was she going to move us if there were no rooms available?
