Loved this hotel! I stayed at the Grand for one night in March 2020. Upon check-in I received a free upgrade to a junior suite, breakfast buffet and two free drink vouchers due to being an Expedia VIP, which was great. I was also sick and asked for a late checkout. The staff behind the desk were so helpful and arranged for a 1pm checkout for me, perfect! The room was nice and spacious with a great view of the city. It was too windy for the rooftop hot tubs that night but in the morning it was blue sky and perfect weather for it. The downstairs pool is lovely with comfy chairs, a hot tub and a sauna in the changing room. The restaurant was very quiet, I had dinner there and breakfast, both of which were good meals. Also stores my suitcase there for a few hours after I checked out. Overall, excellent service, great facilities and a wonderful stay!

Great Hotel in a great location Really enjoyed staying in this hotel - the rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained with great views of Toronto and the sunsets over the city. The pool was really nice with a relaxing 'Romanesque' theme. The hot tub on the rooftops was also a treat - until it started snowing! Overall, very fun experience and would recommend staying here.

Great pool area Stayed one night last Thursday. Liked the hardwood floors, suite style. Location worked for us. Loved the pool and enjoyed swimming in the morning- huge and nice and warm. We even did the roof top hot tub in the evening, in the blustery wind, which was kind of cool. Bed ok but pillows terrible for me. All really big and I woke up with a neck strain which I never get and was unfortunate as we were going bed shopping the next day. I now need to go back to Toronto from London another time when I don’t have a sore neck. We wanted to do breakfast but we were a bit late due to our swim and they said we were too late and they were serving lunch now but the huge restaurant had only 1 other patron - I would think they would have made an exception. Parking option was great to have and reasonably priced. Front desk service could have been more welcoming and friendly. Felt we were putting her out a bit to help us. Not rude by any means though. Overall an average stay with both good and not so good.

Boutique atmosphere, helpful front desk, amazing pool Despite an error with my on-line reservations, this was a pleasant and memorable place for an overnight business trip to Toronto. If you enjoy a walking experience of the city this is a very convenient place to explore: it is a 10 minute walk to Allan Gardens, Eaton Centre with a side serving a slightly gritty streets. Suites are spacious, and include a comfortable sitting area with a small kitchenette. I really enjoyed the pool - it has amazing lighting, very restful experience. Plus hot tubs on the roof must be great in the warmer weather.

First Stay at the Grand The service from the check in and housekeeping was excellent. Room looked nice but I found the bed to be too hard for my liking. Bathroom was a little small and the double doors were a little strange. Despite being beside the elevator, noise was not an issue late evening. The pool area was somewhat disappointing, lighting was very dim. The pool was a good temperature but the walls of the pool need a more thorough cleaning. Fresh fruit at the front desk was a nice touch. I doubt that I will stay there again.
