The bartender is terrific. The best thing about this hotel is the bartender Randall (Randolph) very entertaining. Great drinks. Comfortable bar area. Because things haven’t recovered post Covid, the entertainment district was super quiet so we appreciated using the hotel bar.

Needs updating We spent 4 nights here during lockdown as our place down the street was undergoing emergency repairs. We had a 2-bedroom suite. Pros: - Big room -Good location downtown -Full Breakfast included -Great price Cons: -The pipes made an excruciating pneumatic drill like sound whenever the shower was on and whenever a neighbour's shower was on. Our upstairs neighbour liked to take showers at 1am and it woke us up. -The shower water, at its hottest setting, was lukewarm. Weirdly if you ran a bath everything was fine, but if you're not a bath person you'll be disappointed. -The room was depressingly dark. Ours overlooked a gap between two large buildings so I had no idea what the weather was like at any time during the day and there was no natural light at all. -Because of covid they only provide housekeeping service on Mondays and Thursdays, which is fine, but it took a bit of effort to get them to come pick up our garbage each day. The last hotel we stayed at had staff walk around a few times a day to pick up garbage left in the hallway (contactless) but here I had to call a few times for service. Overall, it was pretty good value for money but definitely needs someTLC!

Great location but Dirty Being a COVID-19 situation one would expect special attention in cleanliness. The room was dirty, specially the dishes. I reported it to the reception and nothing changed. The location can not be better and the size of the room is great.

Poor Experience Three of us spent two nights here. Check in was quick and the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Upon arriving to our room, we found dirty dishes in the dishwasher and stains on the bed. The front desk staff was helpful with immediately getting us a new room. We found a baby toy in the new room, unfortunately these rooms are not cleaned well. Our hairdryer in the room did not work. I was also disappointed to have had both rooms be right near the elevators even though I specifically requested in my reservation that I didn’t want to be close to elevators. The rooms were spacious which was nice and I enjoyed that we were able to book a time for the pool. The complimentary breakfast was only from 7-9 which was unfortunate. I did however enjoy the location of this hotel, we enjoyed the Starbucks across the street, Sunset Grill for breakfast a little further down the street and it was not a far walk to attractions and stores. Front desk staff were very helpful and nice.

Beautiful Stay in Uncertain Times 4 of us stayed at this Beautiful hotel on a Monday during the Covid crisis. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and courteous. But in particular, Ray and Amir were exceptional. There was an issue with the wifi and we were immediately upgraded to a larger room with excellent internet access. The pool was all ours for an hour and the takeaway breakfast was welcomed. We will stay at this property again when in the city!
