Great hotel a short drive outside the city The hotel bar/restaurant had an awesome Pork sandwich. We ordered a smash burger and a pepperoni pizza that didn’t disappoint. The hotel had both an indoor and outdoor pool. The only downside was our room didn’t have a fridge. Not a big deal, because it was a 1 night stay for us.

A Solidly Okay Place Not the best but not the worst. Staff was wonderful. Can confirm what other reviewers have said about the hallways smelling badly. They smelled musty and like cigarettes and weed. The property definitely needs updating. We stayed in a 1 king room (#209). The room itself was alright. It had a fridge and microwave which is nice. Bed was comfy. Seemed clean. Bathroom was hurting though. The toilet wouldn’t stop running and the shower looked shady. Cannot comment on water pressure because we opted to wait until we got home to shower as the appearance of the shower gave us the ick. My Mom was in room 266, a two double bed room. That room was very dated and not as nice as our room at all. I think the 1 king rooms are the more updated option. We didn’t use the pool but our family members did (outdoor) and they quite enjoyed it. This building has much potential but needs some serious TLC. Our stay was fine but I wouldn’t go out of the way to stay there again unless there was a major overhaul. We witnessed a man screaming at the front desk staff because his shower wouldn’t work. The staff handled it well. This was something that wasn’t their fault, that’s on the owner, but they handled it with grace.

We were double charged and no one called back We do not recommend this hotel because of the poor customer service. We were double charged and no one called us back. IT WAS THEIR FAULT and we paid. We feel ripped off. We are a charitable organisation who rented a room for two nights for our guest speaker back in November 2023. The staff at the hotel was very accommodating during the booking process that had some complications. The reservation was done by one of our volunteers who has paid with her personal credit card. We booked for two nights. On the second night, as our conference finished late, the hotel called our guest speaker to confirm that he would be staying that second night in the hotel. It was odd and he naturally said yes knowing that we had booked two nights for him. However, the hotel added the second night in two different rooms for our single guest speaker. That meant that he slept in one room, and we were charged for his room along with an empty room that we did not request. We tried to sort the matter with the hotel. We were passed from the hotel front desk to the manager, then to customer service. In customer service we dealt with a couple of different people. Moreover, we could only communicate through emails, so it became complicated to follow the issue. The exchange of emails lasted a few months, only to be told that we could not be reimbursed, even though they double booked us. Again, we tried to call the hotel but somehow the manager was never available. Even after leaving a message, we never got a call back. This is highly disappointing! Our volunteer has been awaiting to reimburse her credit card since last December. Our Charitable organization will have to lose over two hundred (200) dollars that were meant for charity. It is an awful and inhumane way for a big corporation to take money from those who need it and a terrible way to treat clients. Unfortunately, we do not recommend this hotel as we feel disrespected, and we will not be renting there again in November for our next Guest Speaker.

Decent hotel, booking system overcharged me Decent hotel for our purposes: getting 25 people from across the country into one hotel for 3 nights, on a tight budget. Food was better than expected. One reason why I will think twice before coming here again: the booking service they use charged me more than 50% more on ambiguous "fees." Also, there is no "hotelvalues.com" web site so what can I do but comment here? Insane cash grab.

Beware of the second floor I used hotel.com to book a room. We stayed in this hotel two years ago and it was fine. This room was on the second floor and it was awful. There were holes in the wall, the balcony door didn’t lock , the phone didn’t work and we were facing the woods. The furniture was very worn and there were two double beds that looked like they had seen better days. My daughter and I did not feel safe. I phoned the front desk on my cell phone and requested another room. I said when we stayed at this hotel last time the room didn’t look like this. Apparently according to the man who came with another key we had a deluxe room and the rooms on the second floor were all the same. It would be $20 a night extra. I agreed to the upgrade. The room we stayed in was on the third floor and it was better. I don’t understand why a hotel would rent out rooms in such horrible condition. I gave me a bad feeling and was actually scary. For to night it cost $400 paid to booking.com, $12 a night for parking and $20 night for the upgrade for a total of $470. They must be under new management . We I’ll never stay there again
