28 Days in Heaven, with some quirks I stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Tracy for a month while I was training for a new job in Tracy. The hotel is super clean, trendy, and basic. The pool and ice machine have been off limits for the entire time I've been here, but guests are free to go over to the other hotel to get ice or use the pool. There's usually ice behind the front desk, but you can get it from the other hotel too. The room itself is large but not functional. The desk is across from the bed, which gives you about two feet of space, so it's useless. You can't pull the chair out without a lot of work. My chair stayed in the corner most of the time. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets were very soft. I enjoyed my bed more than my bed at home. The rest of the room was great. Loved the extra plug ins in the alarm for my gadgets, except for the nightlight on the alarm. It turns itself on and really annoying to always have to turn off. Bathroom was big and standing shower was big enough for two. Eco-friendly shower products. I didn't have to go through those tiny bottles of product every day. Very large vanity/counter. I know a lot of hotels skimp out on counter space, but you won't have any worry with that here. I'd like to thank the front desk staff: Abby, Alex, Charito, Dorine, Luella, and Sierra, and breakfast attendants Judy and Lucy, for their warmth and hospitality while I was a guest at their hotel. The staff does go above and beyond to provide exceptional service. The few times I had housekeeping, it was perfect. Never consistent, but bed made, floors vacuumed, and bathroom spotless. I used their laundry service at least once a month and I never had issues. I will probably never ever stay in Tracy again, but if I'm in a bind, I'll choose the nearest Fairfield Inn. Thank you so much! Keep up the great work.

Reliable, Clean and Convenient I've stayed at this property many times before the COVID-19 pandemic and recently stayed for the first time since the end of the pandemic and was happy to see it has been updated a bit and refreshed recently. This hotel is very conveniently located in the Tracy Mall area with several restaurant options within easy walking distance including the Buffalo Wild Wings and Applebees both being open till midnight most of the time. There's a Best Buy and Target close by as well. There can be some freeway noise but it's not bad considering how convenient this hotel is to not only Tracy but Stockton, Livermore, Mountain House and Manteca. It's a good central location for work or visiting family. The best part of my most recent visit was the top notch customer service from the front desk and staff who were always helpful, friendly and professional. The only reason I didn't give a full five star review is not the property's fault necessarily but I really dislike the bathtub/shower combo with the curtain. I know most Fairfields seem to have this but a shower with a shower door would be so much more useful, esp. for folks who may have mobility issues but didn't get the disabled room !

Go elsewhere! Not Marriott worthy! I am a frequent traveler, Marriott Titanium member. I don't leave many reviews, but this place deserves it. I stayed here many years ago and it wasn't good then, but I think they had a remodel so I'd give it a shot. According to the front desk, they charge $10/day for parking. This is Tracy, CA, not near an airport. Just seems like a way to charge for no reason. It didn't show up on the co-workers receipt, so maybe it's a separate charge? Well, move to my room....the AC apparently didn't work well enough, so they had a very loud floor AC unit next to the bed and a small reciprocating fan to move the air around better. The ugly, loud system did work. When I turned it off to try and sleep (noise) it got hot in the room.....the temp outside was 60 degrees, an open window would have been better, but you can't open the window because of the tape for the homemade AC setup. There were no outlets next to the bed on the right, and an outlet next to the bed on the left, of which one plug was occupied by the AC unit. I had no charging abilities on the nightstand between the beds. The room was also dirty-ish. I've stayed in worse, but not by preference, and definitely not at a Marriott property. At breakfast, the attendant was doing paperwork in a small breakfast seating area that was filling up, taking up a place for customers to sit (I didn't realize the person was the attendant until they finally got up to re-stock). While she was sitting there, most of the food and plasticware had run out. There was no "how was your stay" question at check out, so I just left without saying anything. The only thing this place had going for it was the price, but next time I'll gladly pay more to stay somewhere else.

Worst Marriott property ever This is the dirtiest and smelliest Marriott property I have ever been to. The plywood floor on the second story hallway is uneven and very bouncy. The room smelled so bad you could not stay in it. The management was no better than the room. Do yourself a favor and choose another property to stay at, this one is horrible

Select another place. A little hard to find at night since the building is in the back of a shopping center and not visible from the street, but the desk clerk gave helpful directions when I called her. Place was very clean. Room was large but empty of furniture except for the bed and one chair. Staff was nice. Free breakfast was not worth having and the sedition network was on the TV with the host spouting anti- vaccine conspiracy theories. When I asked if the channel could be changed, was told that was what people watched here. Will not be spending my money at this property in the future.
