Rooms for improvement, but I will stay again The front desk person was very friendly when we checked in. There was coffee available 24 hours in the lobby, and it tasted good. The hotel seems recently updated. The beds are comfortable, and everything looks new and inviting. However, there is room for improvement in housekeeping. The sink was dirty, though nothing major—a simple rinse cleaned it. There was also trash on the chair. The breakfast was good, better than many other hotels at this level. My major complaint is that the walls are paper-thin; I could hear every word clearly from the people next door. I'm sure their TV was at a normal volume, but it sounded very loud in my room. When people knocked on the door next to mine, it felt like they were knocking on my door—that's how noisy it was.

Nice stay mostly renovated My Mom and sisters recently stayed for 3 nights for local family celebration. The hotel is mostly completely renovated. Room and decor was nice and spacious for the five of us. Breakfast was good-better than most with an offering. Only things that prevent me from giving it a 5 star review which aren't deal breakers- hallways on our floor need a good vacuum, lots of paper scraps, candy, etc. While I appreciate there is no longer daily maid service since covid, coffee supplies need to be replenished and plentiful without guest request. Also had to empty our own overflowing trash can which is too small for the 2 room/2BA we occupied. Easy things that can be improved.

Great Hotel Getting Updated Rooms We were here for a couple of nights for a wedding. They were having some technical issues when we checked in but the desk clerk was able to get it straightened out. they are doing a full remodel of the rooms - we had a recently completed one and it was nice! Very clean with new furnishings. There was still work going on in some areas but it was not disruptive for us. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience!

DIRTY! I'll start by saying the property has undergone recent renovations since my stay in November 2023. Although, renovations can only go so far. If there continues to be no accountability for Housekeeping to "properly clean" the rooms, after renovations, you'll have a room with new furniture, carpet, and fixtures that's dirty. Below is a copy of the initial email (edited for brevity and clarification) I sent to the Hotel's GM ...3 days after check-in. As mentioned, I would like to bring a few issues to your attention...... ...issues, I find concerning, especially for a Hilton-branded hotel. First, I'd like to compliment you and your staff, everyone has been very professional and helpful in every way, including politely listening to my concerns. Secondly, I'd like to admit, I'm kind of picky. When I checked in, and examined the different areas of the suite, including the kitchen. I opened the fridge door and immediately noticed the candy wrapper on the floor and upon further inspection, the trash in the corner ( see photo). I notified Joe at the front desk who apologized and indicated he would have housekeeping address this right away. Unfortunately, after leaving my room for over an hour, I returned to find housekeeping had not addressed the issue and had gone for the day. I also discovered other areas of concern. I advised Joe, and he apologized and also offered me a new room, which I declined because there were no other available rooms on the top floor. The other issues involve the telephone (by the way, the desk phone doesn't appear to work) receivers ( see photos). As you can see from the photos, they were both filthy. Further evidence of how filthy they were can be seen in the photos of the paper towel I used to clean them. Then there's the issue of the holes on both sides of the bedspread/comforter (see photos). I understand the hotel is aged, and needs renovations (I also understand renovations have recently started or will be starting soon), although I believe we can both agree, that my concerns have nothing to do with wear and tear or the need for renovations, but basic cleanliness and upkeep. I'm sure you'll also agree that the above conditions are unsatisfactory under any circumstances, and as a member of Hilton Honors, I'm deeply disappointed in the hotel and the brand. /////////////////////////////////////////// I'll also add this to my review......Renovations can only go so far. If there continues to be no accountability for Housekeeping to "properly clean" the rooms, after renovations, you'll have a room with new furniture, and fixtures that's dirty. I also had to voice concerns about trash not being emptied, towels not being replaced, lack of follow-from the GM, and lack of empathy from Hilton's Corporate Customer Service Department, who kept referring me back to the hotel, instead of addressing my concerns with the hotel and coming to an agreeable resolution of my concerns. Needless to say, it was a long 17 day business trip, and my experiences at this hotel made it seem much longer.

PASSABLE While the staff is nice and very friendly, my room had peeling wallpaper, a desk that, if I attempted to open the drawer, the wood pulled off. Out of date in all respects... fabrics from the 70s or 80s I think, and beneath the bed coverlet was some sort of pad that used to have pockets for the bottom corners of the mattress, but which was ripped... so in essence I slept with a ripped mattress pad as my blanket. I was frankly shocked given the "discounted" room rate was $170+ per night. Don't know if Hilton owns, operates, or just is affiliated with this place, but I had the same experience in Pittsburgh. Someone needs to step up their game and stop the online "hype" and misleading pictures. During my stay, a 4-man crew came in and changed every lightbulb... part of the "modernization." They were nice, no problem there... I'm glad, since two lamps hadn't been working... The kitchen had 2 sets of silverware and other necessary items... (along with a beer cap in the silverware drawer and a mounted plastic paper towel holder that wouldn't hold the paper roll.... Would not stay here again and would not recommend. Very dissappointed, and if I hadn't needed the location for convenience (and Hilton Honors points), I would've checked out after the first night.
