CONVENIENT, CLEAN, and Must Meet the CHEF When I think of Holiday inn, I used to always think of motel. This is nowhere near a motel. I really loved and enjoyed my stay here. July 18-23, 2022. When you stay somewhere, you want first and foremost to experience a welcoming, wonderful customer service experience. Well, I must say with a smile on my face, I received that every single day of my stay. Gerald greeted me and my mom EVERY morning with a warm, welcoming, respectful, polite, professional, and pleasing attitude, smile, and awesome customer service. The rest of the staff did the same. My room was clean and comfortable aside from the towels having hair on them. The toilet seemed as though it was going to detach and throw me to the floor. They promptly sent the maintenance man to try to fix it after I reported it. He did his best. Shortly after, it still moved but not as bad as it did at first. The dark out curtains wouldn't stay closed. But these were minor things that did not ruin my stay. The problem is people have no respect for other people anymore. This is a COMPLETE, NONSMOKING HOTEL and these people smoke this garbage marijuana in the hotel and had the whole fifth floor wreaking of marijuana. It stunk so bad the first two days, but the hotel finally got it under control. I did not get to enjoy the pool and the mini workout equipment they had. The TV had tons of channels. Although I refuse to pay for cable, I got to watch a few shows that I had never seen. During a thunderstorm, they do not have strong cable or internet signals. They went out often during that time. Our room was spacious, our tub was clean, and I really liked the room and hotel. They only put two wash cloths in there. It should have been 4 wash cloths, four towels and two hand towels. And OMG!!, Chef Ceasar. He is the Owner of Burger Theory. He is polite, professional, and a doggone Excellent chef! This hotel, unfortunately, does not offer complimentary breakfast, but the chef offers a magnificent breakfast when he is the one cooking. And I had the honor of tasting one of the burgers and fries during an evening of indecisiveness of what to eat. It was sooo good. I met the GM of the hotel on the elevator, unknowing of his status. He asked how my stay was, and I shared a few things with him. Then later found out he was the GM. He was so open to hearing about my concerns and praises of the staff and he thanked me for sharing. All establishments should be like this. I highly recommend this hotel. It is near everything you need; shopping and eating. Stay here!!

If you love the strong stench of urine you will love this property... I booked two rooms for myself and my family; we were in town for a funeral for a beloved family member and this was close to the cemetery. One of the rooms had the STRONG stench of urine and we identified a wet spot on the floor as the source. It was absolutely putrid. The room had no blinds and the extremely bright lights outside of the room flooded the room with light through the night. I have attached a photo of the room in the middle of the night. We were instructed by the front desk to place a sheet over window to block the light and the mirror to prevent reflection. The door also had no safety latch. I spoke with two different representatives on site neither could have cared less; I was told the GM would call to discuss however I have not received a call. The second room contained still had the trash from previous guests in the receptacles in both the room and bathroom. When they “cleaned” my room after the first night they exchanged the towels but did not clean the counters, toilet or bother to make the bed. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying at this poorly run property.

This hotel has management problems!! We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and it was one of the poorest Holiday Inn Express that we have stayed in. The hotel had 6 stories and 5 ice makers, none of which worked. We had to get ice every morning from the breakfast attendant. The room was not serviced several times even though we requested service everyday. Many times we had to go down to the desk and get fresh towels. The management was definitely absent!! On the positive side, Hei Tucker who was on the front desk was very nice and helpful. I had to print out several documents and the computer would not sync with the printer, so she printed them for me. Also, Marana who made breakfast Mon-Fri was an exceptional employee. She did and excellent job and was always will to help. The breakfast attendant on the weekends was also very efficient and helpful. We had a nice room, but the carpet was stained and needed replacing.

An OK stay for a day or two. We found this property to be fairly clean. Our room (418) was comfortable and very clean. Obviously, these rooms have been renovated fairly recently. The bathroom was on the small side, containing the step in shower, toilet and vanity all in the small space. No shower and toilet privacy as everything is crammed into the one small area. Within the room is a king bed, small sofa seat, business work area, small refrigerator and microwave and 55” flat screen TV. We never turned on the TV so I have no idea what channels are available. Things that we had difficulties with were somewhat minor but noticeable. Linens supplied in the bathroom were sparse. We had only one hand towel and they do not keep an extra roll of TP in the barroom. If you need an additional roll you must go to the front desk! The breakfast selection was very limited. It seems if they ran out of breakfast items no more were set out. There was no fresh fruit, yogurt was gone within minutes and some days none was set out. No muffins or other pastries were available during our stay. Scrambled eggs, sausage and pre prepared oatmeal were available as well as a couple of dry cereals and juice. What we missed most was fresh fruit, yogurt and pastries. Overall, not a bad stay but parking is limited, only one elevator out of two was working during our stay and that one was extremely slow and overused. I know there are better options in the area around Northlake Mall (a dead or dying mall not worth your effort to visit). Plenty of places to dine out and shopping includes a nearby Target. Good luck and happy travels!

HORRIBLE This hotel is not kept up to part, when we arrived, and checked in went to the room and there were no towels. Called down to front desk could not get answer so walked to the front lobby. I was informed that there were not towels. They lady name Cee Cee at the front desk was trying to wash towels because there were not towels. We had one towel and one bath towel for the entire family. We did not receive towels until the day of leaving. My room was dirty, sheets dirty, floor dirty, and something was eating me up on my legs. The bathroom door would not close, and they did not even have sheets for the pull-out couch. We had to pull apart beds to piece together clean sheets. It was a horrible experience, if I would have had another hotel to go too, I would have. But everything was booked up because of the sports events. And still have not received a call from the manger but they were quick to charge my card for payment. Horrible experience tried calling corporate and could not get a number I would always get customer relations which did not do anything. Stay away it was like a cheap motel. but with expensive prices.
