Stay here cheaper & have a comfortable room For an inexpensive room for clean and comfort gives it a 5. Rest is 4. Felt safe and appears to have some renovation. New carpet, some new furniture. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker (didn't work) tight parking. Offers a hot breakfast. They recommend taking the food back to your room as the food area is combined with the front desk. There are no tables. All that said, I will stay here again. The owner has done a great job providing the best possible experience you can have for the tired traveler. 7-4-2024

A Perfectly Nice Stay at a Reasonable Price. My wife and I stayed here both going and coming back from a recent trip to Purgatory Resort near Durango, Colorado. It is an older motel that has been renovated. Nothing fancy, but very clean, with good air conditioning, plenty of hot water in the shower, good beds, nice TV, and an okay, free hot breakfast. My only complaint is that they ran out of coffee at breakfast on our return trip, a major faux pas in my book. Other than that, a perfectly nice stay at a reasonable price.

Surprisingly good Room was very clean, breakfast was good - only downside was there was not a good area to walk my dog and the lighting in the area was very poor at night.

Super clean, great staff, but tricky if you have any mobility issues. I was in five different hotels during my trip and this one was the cleanest. The bed was comfortable and the tv had a decent selction of stations. However even the ground floor rooms were trickly to access for those with mobility issues due to a narrow walkway, without a railing, that was two steps high. Also there was no way to get into the front office to check in for someone needing a ramp unless they parked in the alley to access the only ramp at the location, and then traveresed that narrow walkway around the several corners to the front of the hotel. Also the sole hanidcap parking space I saw had no side space on either side, so there was no way to enter your vechcle with a wheel chair, scooter or walker. Not for a mobily impaired driver, or a a mobility impaired passenger if someone parked beside you... which they will since parking is tight in the alley area.

Great Value !!! Thank you Trip Advisor :-) Based on good reviews, I opted to give this place a try and save a few dollars. So glad I did !!! Virginia at the front desk was friendly & efficient. Older property but room appeared to have been updated. I prefer motels like this whereby you park in front of your own door, making it so much easier to transport luggage, cooler, etc. It was very clean & comfortable with fridge/micro & in-room coffee. Bathroom was spotless. Plenty of towels, hot water & fantastic water pressure. Free wifi w/ample signal strength. Pet friendly but really no place to walk your dog except a vacant lot out back & sticker patch on the side street. Typically I'd stay at the BW or Holiday Inn Express across the street but they were at least $50 more. Light continental but there are restaurants in town if you want a proper sit down breakfast. If you're just passing through & all you want is a hot shower & clean bed, this is a good choice. But ask to see your room 1st to see if it will meet your needs. If you want/need more amenities, you'll pay almost twice the price.
