GUESS CHOICE HOTELS ALLOWS ANYONE TO USE BRAND Extremely poor management skills. This owner obviously has zero interest in upgrading hospitality services scaled to 2024. NOT for frequent or saavy travelers. I canceled room soon as I walked into their nasty dated lobby. DO NOT BOOK. Plenty of normal choices in this town (IHG, Marriott, Best Western). I have directed our travel department to never book this low class property again.

Bring fly spray, Building is Fine. Breakfast free, but no eggs!! Hotel was inexpensive and rooms and building were clean and somewhat updated. Breakfast did not compare to other motels. They were out of eggs. Price was less than any other Quality Inns, but the flies were a nuisance. There is not much choice in Tucumcari; so,I would have to choose this hotel again. They need to spray the rooms for flies.

Uncaring property that doesn't honor reservations Booked a week in advance. Got a phone call around 6pm, when we were an hour away, saying they had to "close the motel" for the night and our reservation was canceled. No apology. I asked if they could rebook us in a nearby Choice Hotels property and they just said "no." No explanation, no apology, no nothing. They could not care less.

Not satisfactory Our room had so many flies and bugs.Bath tub needs from to be bleached.Breakfast was ok,but definitely need to step up on rooms. I left my number and email for manager to get in touch but never did.We were coming through town after a mission trip and wanted a clean place to sleep.Very disappointed that the manager didn’t give me a call or at least email.

Bait and Switch We have stayed at this motel about 5x's as we transit from Phoenix to Wisconsin. The first 3x were great. We found the restaurant to have good food and great service. The last two times the restaurant was closed but the breakfast bar was open #4 and the options were good but this last time the offerings were sparse. Juice was empty and the attendant sat in a chair and did not keep the countertops clean. Most disturbing was the rate were were quoted when we called the hotel # and were apparently transferred to central reservations was NOT the rate we were charged when we got there. We had the name of the person we spoke to as well as the confirmation #. The rate for the room was $10 more plus they charged us $50 for our two cats. We were quoted a rate so $25 total for two cats. It happened that the manager was there and he said "well you did not talk to us", no we talked to the person that answered the phone # listed on the website for the hotel. Said that our deposit would not be refunded if we chose to go elsewhere. Thus we paid $35 more than what we had planned and did not even get a decent breakfast. Our cat's litter box is on a large plastic shower liner as is there food and water so there is no damage. We stay at 3 motels going each way and we have never paid $50 for our cats.
