I recommend this hotel 100% We had a family emergency and had to come to Tulsa, we were wore out from being at the Tulsa Heart Center all day with our Mom and when we got to the hotel, the staff here was excellent and so caring and the cookies they give you when you check in are so good. I recommend this hotel 100%.

Horrific Our experience with the hotel staff was nothing short of a nightmare. Securing a digital room key was an incredibly frustrating ordeal. Initially, we were informed that the presidential suite did not have a full-size refrigerator, yet the staff couldn't clarify the actual size of the fridge that was in the room. Ultimately, we discovered it had a full-size fridge along with two mini-fridges, completely contradicting what we had been told. To make matters worse, there were only three tiny trash cans in the bathrooms, despite the suite featuring a full-size kitchen that clearly required more disposal options. When we asked the staff for solutions, they were unable to assist us, leaving us feeling disappointed with their lack of customer service and disregard for guest satisfaction. Parking was another headache especially when our card failed to work in the parking garage and the alternate was $12 parking. To add insult to injury, staff members Jimmy and manager Jim sent security to our room, claiming we hadn’t booked it, even though we had access to the suite and had stayed there the previous night. We were forced to pay for the room a second time just to avoid being kicked out during our Thanksgiving dinner. Instead of acknowledging that the previous shift had made a mistake by granting us access to the second room of the two-bedroom presidential suite we had reserved, Jim deflected blame onto third-party booking agencies and us, the paying customers. Furthermore, the condition of the bathrooms in the presidential suite was outdated and unacceptable. The shower curtain was broken, the toilet seat had stains and tears, and we discovered a flossing pick left behind by previous guests on the bathroom counter beneath the blow dryer bag. Overall, this experience was tainted by poor customer service and neglected accommodations.

Totally awesome The staff at the double tree Tulsa downtown treated me great. Everyone was pleasant and everything was to clean and to my liking. I have been on the road since march and this has been one of my best interactions with hotel staff. I look forward to staying here again.

NO POOL OR HOT TUB Why can’t they put on their website POOL AND HOT TUB ARE CLOSED AND OUT OF SERVICE!! I mean I even called to verify that the hot tub was open BEFORE I booked!! Got there and lo and behold they are both empty and being redone!! To make up for lying about the pool they say they will give me free breakfast, a $50 value. I read on their website it’s “Made to order?” If so I never saw anything being made to order. An empty looking buffet manned by a woman who knew the eggs and toast were empty. This was at 8 am so you’d think she’d replenish but evidently not. There was bacon swimming in grease and some link sausage. I tried the latter but it was really bad. The breakfast was priced $17 and the food, what there was, was terrible. Also couldn’t figure out where to get coffee on the breakfast buffet. One last thing no body wash or soap. They told me, after I asked, that they were just having their customers use the small face soap bar in the shower. If true then maybe give 2 bars of face soap? Won’t stay here ever again.

Bad form Doubletree! I have to say this is by far the worst experience we’ve ever had at Doubletree. Our daughter booked the room and it was a mess from the moment we arrived. Long line for check in and only one person at the front desk. We assumed we were too early to check in but wanted to check and make sure we were ok to park in the garage. Finally get to the front desk agent and we’re told they were sold out the night before so room wouldn’t be ready until after 4. She was very nice and we went on to our event. Came back around 5:30? and again a long line with two people working now. Room still not ready. Asked for manager and the gentleman at the desk said he was upstairs. Waited a bit longer, asked for the manager, gentleman at the desk says the manager isn’t coming down at all. Finally get to the room around 6:30, this put us super behind for our next event because there needed to be a clothing change. The next day my daughter calls to complain and Hilton says “we comped your parking and gave you a free breakfast” I’m sorry I didn’t know you were expected to pay for parking at the hotel you are staying at?! It’s $28 a night!! And no one told her the breakfast was comped so they went somewhere else to eat. I just think this was bad customer service all around. If you were completely booked the night before, and you know that there is another huge event going on, why wouldn’t you have all hands on deck turning rooms over, or at least have a manager at the desk smoothing things over?
