Wonderful Hello Everybody!!! We are having a wonderful stay at ESA (Extended Stay America) Midtown, here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Due to the prior 2 years of dealing with COVID 19 protocols and restrictions, and the subsequent explosion in house prices, my wife and I decided to remain here at this hotel for an extended time. The staff here have been fabulous in caring for our every need. Even during this past week, when you had several top events held here in Tulsa, including the PGA Golf Championship, which caused zero available rooms in the Tulsa area, the staff responded in an exemplary fashion. Of course, whether it’s airlines or hotels, Booking Agencies (not the hotel itself) are notorious for overbooking the different sites. I happened to be in the lobby and witnessed several unhappy customers who had no room available to them, many after traveling here from a long way off, just to realize the hotel was overbooked. So, the staff was under tremendous pressure to explain “Why”, “the customer insisted”, and what they were going to do now? I could see the hopelessness and helplessness in their eyes. But actually, it’s not the hotel’s fault. Having travelled worldwide and stayed in over 35 countries, I can see this issue is a systematic failure of the Reservation System, in that the Reservation System does not take care to ensure booked travelers are not stranded due to over-bookings. This System needs to be revamped to take better care of travelers so they will not be stranded because of over-bookings. Still, the ESA Staff braved the difficult language being thrown at them, and handled the situation in an extremely Professional manner. Once again, The Staff at Extended Stay America has gone over and beyond their normal call of duty to satisfy clients and ease the pain of a difficult situation. Great Job ESA Midtown! Jim H.

Not a Good Experience Do not stay at this hotel. It is old with no updates. It is dirty. It is stained. It is moldy. I saw roaches on the wall. I have traveled a lot and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. I did write a letter to their corporate office with pictures. To be fair, I will point out the good things. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the air conditioner blew cold air and the shower water pressure was strong and the water was hot. Everything else was dirty and scary. Do not stay here.

Safety,Comfort and Quality I'm going to give it four stars simply because out of all the hotels in the area this is the most quietest and safest one I was actually able to relax and sleep so where the kids I gave it four stars just because it needs some updating but I see they're definitely been updated and working on it. I see they have weeded out all the bad clients. And keep it pretty secure in here so no strangers can't walk in and out as they please. I'm all about cleanliness so I'll give it a 3 out of 5 on cleanliness not that it was filthy just needs to be cleaned up a little more in the room. but again the quietness and the safeness was admirable that's why I gave it a 4. In most of all what matters the most at the end of the day when I have a problem I like to know that they're willing to work with me and make it better if they can. so with that being said the manager was welling to accommodate for any troubles and was extremely nice been staying here for almost a week now slept in very late today past check out and they didn't even bother me because they knew that I was coming to pay I thought that was awesome I've been extremely respectful and so have they.

Crating community starts with excellent customer service and hospitality. One thing that seems to lack in the hotel industry, including this hotel is providing information to the guests when checking in. When employees neglect to perform this important task it leaves your guests feeling slighted. Couple of examples, where to dispose of trash, hours when complimentary coffee is served, offering a luggage rack at check in to bring belongings in, (so important to have two racks available which this hotel only has one!!!!) There are many longer term guests that stay who have a substantial amount of belongings. Two luggage racks at best should be standard. The hours linen exchanges take place. Informing the guests of leash requirement for pets, indoor and outdoor on the property. Outdoor Trash cans, this property has one. Advising guests where to dispose of trash, and providing the means to do so and telling them why. Believe it or not people have to be told. What to do in the event of a fire or inclement weather. Avoiding the two emergency exits at either end. Strictly enforcing this because it sets the alarm off and is a disturbance to all. If the front desk people cannot provide this information then provide a checklist to the guests at check in. This hotel has some decent standard practices, but this aspect in lacking.
