The worst! The worst hotel I've ever stayed. I don't even know where to begin.. The building was under construction, the whole facility looks dirty and unsafe. The hotel is located at unsafe area (homeless looking people around the hotel). The wifi was terrible. You have to call a number (not in hotel) to connect your devices, and the signal barely worked. We booked two nights in July, only stayed one night, and ran away on the second day (without refund). STAY AWAY !

Terrible Place I stay at the Econo Lodge Champaign Urbana - University Area from March 5th to March 12th. I don’t even know where to begin. The area does not look safe at night - a homeless-looking person followed me in the parking lot until he noticed that I was walking towards someone and not alone. One side of the building was under construction so they placed me on the other side of the building which was facing the parking lot and road. The room was dark, there were dry beans and toe/fingernails on the floor, the shower nob was dirty, and the heater was half broken (as seen in two of my pictures). The heater sounded like a broken jet engine and the first night I spent there was awful. I had a difficult time sleeping because of the noises in the hotel and the heater. The nights after that were worse because people constantly kept parting in their rooms, slamming doors, and I heard fighting in one of the rooms as I was walking to my room. I had to stay until my check-out date because it was a non-refundable room.

Great deal, nice room We stopped at this hotel at the end of a long trip. We were tired and we're looking for a reasonable place to stay. I must say, for the price I wasn't expecting much, but was very surprised and pleased with our room. It was clean, had a nice stand-up shower, a d more amenities than expected. The bed was super comfortable so we got a good night's sleep before our last 8 hours of driving. The staff was great. They had a very simple breakfast due to care taken over the COVID-19 precautions. All in all, we were pleased and would consider staying there again if we are traveling through.

It'll Do for a Night I went here in September and stayed for a night. Nothing too fancy or anything, just did well for what it was worth. It's a cheap stay for a hotel. Looks like per pictures since then they have remodeled. I would stay again.
