Wr really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning blew nice cold air. It felt great coming in from the heat. My wife enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The staff were friendly and housekeeping was accommodating. The parking lot is well lit and there are plenty of food and shopping centers near this hotel. The freeway is nearby to head in various directions. We definitely recommend Quality Inn as an affordable destination.

Rude Front Desk - Poor Customer Service I had a highly disappointing experience at this hotel due to the extremely poor customer service. When I checked into my room, it reeked of cigarette smoke despite the hotel’s non-smoking policy. I went to the front desk and spoke with Brenda, explaining the issue and requesting a room change. Brenda initially refused to change my room, citing hotel policy and claiming she couldn’t make changes in the system. This seemed absurd and completely unhelpful. Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and she showed no willingness to assist. What made the situation even more frustrating was her reasoning. According to Brenda, "as per hotel policy, she couldn’t change my room because I had used the face towel to wipe my hands in the previous room, which now needed cleaning". This excuse was unreasonable and irrelevant to my request for a non-smoking room. After putting up a fight and insisting on a room change, Brenda finally relented and changed my room. However, the entire experience left a very negative impression. A hotel should prioritize the comfort and satisfaction of its guests, and this encounter fell far short of that standard. I do not recommend staying here unless you’re prepared to deal with unaccommodating staff and poor customer service.

Convenient Location for restaurants and shopping Went during school winter break, after new years, so the hotel was not crowded. The receptionist warns you that there may be a deposit hold on your credit card. Our room was on the 2nd floor near the front of the hotel, window facing a shopping center. Could take elevator or stairs to the 2nd floor. In our room, the window was open when we entered. Closed the window and got the heater started. Room temp then became comfortable. Hardwood floor, so bring slippers. An alarm went off at the shopping center at night, which we could hear. Otherwise, the hotel is quiet. Breakfast was basic: juice and coffee, cereal, yogurt, and do-it-yourself waffles. The location is very close to lots of restaurants and shopping. The Auto Club is within walking distance. The location is a short drive to the parking lot of Six Flags, which was the main reason for our visit. Parked near the front entrance of the hotel for security purposes. Overall, it was a good stay.

Best Motel 6 we’ve ever stayed in! Don’t let old reviews keep you from this Motel 6! It’s been renovated and, frankly, is the nicest Motel 6 I’ve ever stayed in! Spotlessly clean, inside the units and outside on the grounds. We stayed in unit 136 which was very big! Had microwave oven and a HUGE (by hotel standards) refrigerator! Check in was easy. The General Manager was the one that checked us in and out, and he was so friendly, accommodating and helpful! We will DEFINITELY stay here the next time we’re in Vallejo! There is even a little coffee shop on the premises. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so we didn’t get a chance to check it out, since we stayed on a Monday night, but will check it out next time we’re in Vallejo!
