Loden Hotel

A cut above the rest in EVERY WAY possible! Looking back on 2024, my husband and I both agree that our stay at the Loden Hotel was, once again, a highlight of the year. Since our first visit in 2020, this experience has remained a cherished tradition, consistently bringing us joy and standing out as one of the most memorable parts of our year. The hotel's attention to detail is remarkable, from the exquisite lighting, furniture, and art, to the luxurious bed and bedding, handwritten notes, complimentary treats, and in-room snacks reminiscent of the old days. The soaker tub and large, lavish shower and bathroom further enhance the experience. Not to mention, the hotel’s adjoining restaurant, Tableau Bar Bistro, offers exquisite French cuisine that can be conveniently delivered straight to your room and it's prime location in downtown Vancouver, there is no shortage of activities and attractions to explore. From shopping on Robson Street, to taking a stroll along the nearby seawall, or attending events at the Rogers Arena or BC Place, there is something for everyone within walking distance from the hotel. But perhaps what truly sets the Loden apart is the exceptional service, led by the hotel VP, Irina. She is a genuinely beautiful person who cares deeply for her staff, and it shows. Team members like David, Stanislav, and Marie (to name just a few) exemplify warmth and service, creating an atmosphere where hospitality feels natural and sincere. They honestly feel like friends, who we look forward to seeing each year. The Loden Hotel is more than just a place to stay, it's an experience that feels like coming home. And we are grateful for the care and attention that goes into making each stay truly special. We can’t say enough good things about this hotel—it truly stands in a league of its own. My husband and I are eagerly anticipating our return in 2025. If you ever find yourself in Vancouver, treat yourself to a stay at the Loden Hotel—it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!!!

Lovely hotel and amazing staff I truly enjoyed my stay at the Loden Hotel. It is a lovely boutique hotel with fine amenities and touches, but what truly set it apart was the extraordinary staff. They are pleasant and kind and willing to help at a moment's notice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice and Cozy! Flew in to Vancouver for a short stay with my partner and we LOVED the service at the Loden. The whole ambience was intimate and cozy and the staff was so warm and welcoming. We ended up getting a complimentary upgrade for our room (a pleasant surprise!) and we couldn't be happier. We loved the room we got and our overall stay. My partner and I can't wait to come back to Vancouver and book at the Loden! :)

CAME FOR THE WINDOWS...STAYED FOR THE STAFF & LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THE LEMON WATER! This is our third night at the Loden Hotel, and I wish I could stay here FOREVER! My husband and I came here for work. I was debating between three hotels. Honestly, I chose the Loden because of the big windows. When I walked into the room, I was not disappointed! The big windows were GREAT - fantastic view at night and day PLUS there is a small window you can open for fresh air. The two most important things for me in a hotel room (besides, of course, cleanliness) are LIGHT and the ability to open a window. The Park Vista Room has both! So the room is PERFECT! BUT, what has BLOWN ME AWAY has been the STAFF! THEY ARE AMAAAAAAAZZZZZING! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a big warm smile on a freezing cold night by (I believe her name was Maria). And the GENUINE HOSPITALITY has not waned for a SECOND! EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THE STAFF is so respectful and warm and friendly. And each and every one of the staff calls you by your name, which makes you feel REALLY WELCOME and APPRECIATED! From the moment we arrived until now, the service has been flawless; the staff goes above and beyond to be kind, gracious, and helpful - and the small touches make an already beautiful hotel OVER THE TOP! When we arrived, we had a bottle of wine, macaroons, a welcome note, and some candy in our room laid out so nicely - PLUS ICED LEMON WATER next to the bed. OK. Nice...In fact - VERY NICE. BUT what REALLY SURPRISED ME was that EVERY NIGHT we had treats (and sometime during the day as well) AND LEMON WATER WITH ICE DELIVERED 'on a sliver platter' every evening. In my opinion, you can't get much more luxurious than that. (Maybe I will adopt the lemon-ice-water myself!). I am sure I will have more good things to say, so maybe I will add to my review after we have checked out tomorrow (boo hoo!), but up until this point, I can say that the moment we arrived at the Loden Hotel in Vancouver, I thought I had made the right choice. And that feeling has only strengthened as the days have gone by! I DEFINITELY made the right choice and would NEVER stay any where else in Vancouver. And if there were Lodens all over the world, it would be my FIRST CHOICE! The Loden experience is what I believe a boutique hotel experience should be! Thank you to David, the Guest Experience Manager (I hope I got his title right), and EVERYONE ON STAFF (I am not writing names yet because I do not want to leave anyone out...) for making OUR stay so special. This is a WONDERFUL HOTEL that I hope only keeps getting better....Hotels around the world should learn from you! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Wonderful hotel We had a wonderful stay at the Loden Hotel Vancouver. Stanislau and Irina checked us in and they were so welcoming. The staff doesn't just provide great service they seem to genuinely enjoy providing superior service. The hotel feels intimate and the tea and treats in the lobby are a nice welcome back when returning from an outing. The bedding was lovely and the pillows are magical-next time I come go I'm finding out where I can get them! Definitely looking forward to our next stay at the Loden.
