Comfortable Hotel in a Lively Part of Vancouver I enjoyed the large and comfortable room at this hotel. We came for a few days ahead of leaving for a cruise. The hotel is centrally located and an easy walk to Granville Island. The biggest concern had nothing to do with the hotel, but there were many homeless persons nearby. They did not bother us, but it was noticeable. There were numerous clubs, restaurants and shops in the area, within a half mile radius. The staff were super helpful and eager to be of assistance. I would stay here again without hesitation.

don't stay here We were caught in the airline nightmare the week of July 22nd, all week. We had a confirmed room for 23 July with a 48 hour cancellation at this Quality Inn on Granville in Vancouver, BC. However, we were only told our connecting flight was cancelled the afternoon on 23rd. We right away called the hotel (well before check in) and the front desk manager said: 'Mukul, the manager will refund if requested by Choice Privileges' I called CP, who confirmed they asked, but were told 'no'. I called the hotel back and they stated CP had not yet called but they would refund. Clearly not being truthful. Yes, inside the cancellation period, but we lost 3 days and this hotel, while we spent the days at a different Choice Hotel. CP said they would ask the hotel as a courtesy. The hotel just kept not telling me the truth. That they have no courtesy for a stranded traveler.

awful place ugh regrets This hotel is nothing like the pictures its in a sketchy rundown area. Its next door to a night club where you hear loud music until early in the morning. Its the worst place I have stayed in years. We left after one night and moved to the Pan Pacific hotel from the slums to luxury. Do your self a favor going on a cruise stay at the port better hotels. Loved the Pam pacific hotel. Shame on the quality Inn for having this awful place!

Convenient, affordable Vancouver hotel This understated renovated hotel serves as a branch of Quality Inns. Our two bedded room was large with refrigerator, full bath and working air conditioning. Adequate towels and pillows. Front desk accommodated our early arrival with a clean room. Security in this busy part of city is high including room key required for elevators. Limited buffet breakfast without coffee.included at restaurant next door. Free coffee in hotel lobby. Location excellent with bus past door to Waterfront Centre or Granville island. Many ethnic restaurants up and down Granville.

Below average Dated /tired looking hotel, old carpet in hallways and room. Granville Street Area surrounding hotel - is undesirable (old and dirty with numerous homeless persons affected by drug and alcohol abuse) - go 2 or 3 blocks away and it is nice and fine Recommend signs indicating which rooms are on the other side of red doors - very confusing In our suite - one folk, no spoons/knives, no tea-towels. Only spoons delivered when asked front desk. Next morning had to asked one of cleaning ladies - brought 2 knives & forks. Fire Extinguishers in our room and in hallways are out of date for servicing (due 2006 room and 2013 hallway) Slow elevators. Traffic noises at all hours. Been out all day sight seeing etc and returning to room to be told by cleaning staff to vacate the room whilst they conduct serving/cleaning of room at 5:00pm in the afternoon. Good bed/soft mattress. Good Laundry Facilities
