Nice old historic property that has old world charm This used to be a San Fransciscan Convent built in the early 1600's. The rooms are old world; but have mod-cons. Road noise is present for the main road facing rooms; so if you need absolute quiet, then get rooms away from the main street, For hot water, you do have to run the shower for several minutes, thqnks to an older property.

Former Monastery; Safe, Comfortable, Good Location I stayed here on business from a Monday night to Thursday morning. Comfortable bed, clean room. Across the street from a Marine Base, so I felt very safe. Terrazzo tile floor, bathroom that had been updated. Let the shower water run for about 5 minutes to get hot. Very friendly staff. A nice little restaurant next door. Very convenient to see the sites - interesting little museums, a Cathedral and what us left of the original defenses around the city. Easy walking distance to the Cathedral & Town Square. Great value.

Historic building near the center Nice hotel, it felt a little pricey for what you get (e.g., no elevator for the second floor) but it is within walking distance of many of the city’s attractions. The staff is friendly, and there is a restaurant if you want to eat in the hotel. The hotel is built around a central yard with a pool (they were constantly cleaning the leaves off the pool). It has the feeling of an old colonial house with restored floors and nice ornamental tile work, but with some spaces that are a bit awkward for today’s standards.

Clásico no lujoso. The hotel is located in a key spot to visit the old-town-center. Veracruz is a city full of history. If you are looking for that experience and the "jarocho" feeling this hotel will be just right for you. Personally, I dont like staying in the city center if I have a car. I rather stay in Boca del Rio. It depends what are you looking for. The are right in front of the hotel is beutiful (See picture attached) You can walk to "El Malecón" and "El Zócalo" which are less than 500m each.

Nice experience-Un hotel lindo con buen servicio y agradable servicio. This hotel is located downtown of Veracruz ,is a colonial style with very comfortable and pretty rooms,2 blocks from the Hotel is downtown ,restaurants and bars. Across from the hotel there is a big road so, if you are old and too sensitive for the noise maybe not a place for you, however, we had a very good time there, the service is great, very clean and , people are very friendly at the desk. The area is very safe and we enjoyed it.
