The worst hotel/motel experience of my life!!! I have 2 complaints, the first is with reservations.com who steered me to this Motel 6 when they were sold out of other properties in the region for the night 6 May 2022. I booked 2 pre-paid rooms with them, one for my spouse and me, the other for our daughter and her husband. When I checked in, the desk staff indicated that only 1 room was booked. Expecting a clerical error, I paid Motel 6 for the second room, at a higher rate than booked through reservations.com. Reviewing my credit card accounts, I noted that reservations.com had charged me for the 2 rooms and Motel 6 had charged me again for the second room. I alerted customer service at reservations.com and the Vernon Motel 6 and they each blamed the other for the error. Both service reps hung up on me when I pushed back about who was responsible for the double billing. I suspect fraud on the Motel 6 side. The conditions of the hotel and the rooms were terrible. My daughter and husband had to move rooms because the first had holes in the wall and smelled. Both rooms were filthy and to add insult to injury, my wife and I, for the first times in our lives, were bitten by bed bugs in room 256 as listed in a previous review. Reservations.com had no sympathy for my complaint and should be avoided for supporting a fraudulent supplier. They got their money and that is all they cared about. The staff at Motel 6 were rude and quickly hung up on me as I pressed them about the double billing. I will never use reservations.com again and urge everyone to boycott Motel 6 because of this fraudulent franchise holder. My wife and I are traumatized by the bedbugs.

Scam Artist Alert!!!! PLEASE READ FUTURE CUSTOMERS!! The only reason I put 1 star was because there wasn't a zero star option. My Wife and I stayed 1 night here just to rest our heads for the night, while we were on the way to Maine for work. We had just laid our head down at 3am and all of a sudden there's screaming and human growling and items being thrown coming from the man across the hall from our room. it sounded like appliances being thrown at the door and walls. We were scared, not gonna lie, of the clearly mentally unstable and aggressive person across the hall. We called the front desk from our room to see if the kid working up front could get him to stop or call the police. IT WAS THAT BAD!!! The Kid at the front didn't want to do anything and then stated, "he is in his room that he paid for, I cant do anything about what he's doing in there." Even though THEIR MOTEL ROOM WAS BEING DESTROYED!!!! We requested to move rooms if he wasn't going to do anything about it. He changed our room, after he urged that our last room was the very last room available for that night. So we thought it was odd immediately when a room just suddenly became available. So when we wake up today, the same motel is trying to charge my card $500 it was declined. Then another attempt of $400. We called the Motel and said it was a mistake. our room was only $91.99 not $500 and not $400. The Manager then said that we were in the room that got destroyed and I told him that we were in the room across the hall and I have the receipt to prove it. He then started calling My wife "a F******g B**** and that he's going to get his money for his motel damages because we demolished the room." I called Corporate to file a claim and dispute, and the associate even saw in their system that the SLIMEY WORKERS at this Motel 6 Changed our room number after we checked out of our room. HE CHANGED OUR ROOM NUMBER TO THE DEMOLISHED ROOM NUMBER AFTER WE CHECKED OUT!!!!!!!!!! So they are in the process of getting it disputed. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! YOU WILL BE SCAMMED. IF YOU DO STAY HERE, MAKE SURE YOU PAY CASH OR ELSE THEY WILL WRONGFULLY CHARGE YOUR CARD IF YOU DO NEED TO STAY HERE. THE POLICE WILL NOT DO ANYTHING BECAUSE IT IS A "CIVIL MATTER"

unsafe and disgusting. back doors dont lock and homeless people sleeping in hallway rooms disgusting, holes in walls covered with tape, black mold on bathroom ceiling, microwave doesnt work. fridge barely cools. internet works occasionaly. homeless people sleeping in the the rear hall way. not worth the 100.00 have been in nicer and safer for less went to front desk and he said it was our problem not his

BEDBUGS!!! Stayed at this hotel the last week of July in room number 256 and was bitten 56 times by bed bugs!!! Unbelievable!! Beware of this hotel! Not to mention the cockroaches that ran up and down the wall in the middle of the day!

Unsafe, terrible rooms Rooms are NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS! The hallways smell to cigarrettes. The new owner Zee is very aggressive and was often heard on the hallway screaming. There was a party next to my room the night I stayed over with my husband and two children and noone slept because of the loud music and chattering. It was him and friends partying. I would recommend you look the other way if you need a room and somewhere to rest your head! Do not stay here. Not worth it.
