Couples break Chose this hotel due to location, was glad I did as it was perfect for us. The beds are really comfy and the shower good, the staff were all very friendly. It is a great value for money option .There are a few things which would make the stay even better. No kettles in the room, it is only when you don’t have it you realise you miss it!, no iron in the room. The hotel provides an ironing service but no use for last minute ironing. The TV didn’t have many stations and the remote was quite unresponsive. The bar shuts early so you can’t have a night drink, you need to go to a bar outside and bring it back into the hotel. Whilst you will sleep great cos the beds are great the wardrobe doors slide and bang so you will be woken by other guests. These should be soft touch closing All this said I would stay here again

Great hotel We stopped here two nights before commencing our Camino. Staff were kind and the welcome friendly with water and sweets. The room was comfortable but not outstanding. The plumbing is noisy - unfortunate if you are not leaving early to walk as everyone wakes at five when the first pilgrim uses the bathroom! However the breakfast room with water views is outstanding and the breakfast itself a true delight- great variety.

Tremendous service I just want to give a shout out to Antonia on the front desk who went above and beyond her duty to help me a few times when I stayed here. Fantastic service, this lady needs a raise. Hotel was perfect, no issues other than a few of the pens on the front desk had ran dry!

Terrible experience Thought would treat ourselves and booked the junior suite. It was very cold in the rooms so we put the heating on and went for dinner. On arriving back our rooms were colder than ever and the heating system was just blowing out cold air. Reception sent someone with a fan heater and to check that we had put the heating on correctly. (which we had!). Another person then rang our room and said that because hardly anybody stays in that suite they had turned the heating off and that they would turn it on……they didn’t. The rooms were dated, tired and not overly clean. I found a dried out contact lens under the bed when searching for my earring. On leaving the hotel the receptionist was totally unfazed by our complaint and just shrugged his shoulders. Not the way to handle a problem. I would never stay here again.
