Second-Class Customer Room 215 accessible but they think I'm less than a person. A broken ironing board (tubular leg was literally broken in half) almost fell on 10y r old grandson. Borrowed one from my daughter's room (213) that had no pad. The closet had no rod and, therefore no hangers. Couldn't iron clothes, couldn't put them on non-existent hangers to steam in the bathroom. The grandmother of the room looked PERFECT(?) at the wedding. But I needed an accessible room so I must be a second-class customer.

Disappointed Staff was very nice and courteous. However, the hotel experience was not pleasant. Rooms are small, there were bugs in the first room. Second room had maintenance issues and no tech was available to assist. Would not recommend this hotel.

Cute, comfortable room The room was on the small side, but it was loaded with what one needs for a comfortable overnight stay. The hotel is just off Rt. 1, which made for easy access to restaurants and other shopping opportunities. The bathroom is located bedside, which my wife prefers. Close enough when she has to take those midnight breaks. There was a night light, which is also important to us. Nice walk in shower, with a normal height toilet and counter. Lots of pillows, and darkening curtains. The bathroom could use a little sprucing up, and the door would need to be refit to close properly. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient location for us to have spent the night.

A Disappointing Visit I have been staying at this hotel since right after it first built and I’ve followed it through multiple renovations and issues. I have not stayed here since before the pandemic and it has been renovated once again since I was last here. So, to point out once again, what do I look for in a hotel stay? Is it safe? Is it reasonably clean? Can I get a good night’s sleep? Does the air conditioning work well? How is the water pressure? Does the internet work well? With respect to all these basics, things are reasonably good but there are other issues that were annoying on our recent stay. But to being in order: This hotel has always and continues to feel safe. This time it was particularly crowded but still, all seemed well, and I was not concerned for my vehicle or my person during the stay. Upon our arrival in the room, the window shade was open, the room faced west, and the air conditioning was turned completely off – the room was hot. I immediately closed the shade which was interesting: it is not the usual curtain that one slides together, both the curtain (shade) and the light blocking shade are screens on a track that have to be wound down. The light blocking screen was partly out of the track and wouldn’t come down until I stuffed it back in as best I could and forced it. The air conditioning worked, but slowly and even hours later, in the middle of the night, the room was not acceptably cool. This room has a tile floor in the vestibule, then carpet. The tile floor is either deteriorating or it has a sticky substance on it. My wife actually acquired some paper towels and tried to wipe whatever it was up, though not very successfully. A report of the issue to the desk clerk had no result. Otherwise the room seemed quite clean. The internet worked well and was easy to connect The water pressure was good but there is a problem with the shower, and it seems a problem with all the bathroom configurations I’ve experienced with this chain. They use a shower, not a tub, and glass entry doors, not a shower curtain. The problem with this current system is that the shower door rolls shut but when completely pushed as far as it will go, there’s still about an inch and a half of space between the wall and the door, allowing water to escape around it. To add to that, the door did not stay in place but kept rolling back open. We had to push it shut over and over again while showering. Also, there is only one place to hang up a wet towel so if there are two people, you’re out of luck since there’s no curtain rail to use for that purpose. The sink and counter are inside the bathroom and shower room and is small, so only one person can get ready at the same time. One good thing: there is a working exhaust fan in the enclosed bathroom. With respect to getting a good nights sleep, this hotel has a problem which is that sound from the outside, especially the room above, intrudes. We had just stayed a week at a lower rated hotel and never heard our neighbors above or to either side. Not so here: we could hear people talking in te hall, we could readily hear anyone walking above. We had planned to sleep a little later but the people walking around in the room above disturbed us and when they left, the hotel staff started cleaning the room above us and woke us up with the vacuum cleaner running over the floor. And even with the white noise fan that I carry, you could hear this noise, and noise in the hallway. Not a place to stay late and a problem when your neighbors above or to the side come back in the early hours. Finally, the electrical configuration of the outlets is just strange. I plugged in my computer to a wall outlet, but when I turned off a light about four feet away on that same wall, the outlet turned off. And the lights and outlets on the side tables of the bed module didn’t work at all. I looked to see if the bed was plugged in and it was on a side wall, and there was a light switch that was turned off, once turned on, the bed outlets and lights worked. There are no instructions pointing out the use of these switches. And the one in the vestibule is wired backwards. These things were not dangerous, just annoying. But the entire stay was a disappointment, particularly considering my previous stays here. The current renovation has not served them well. As convenient as this place is for my business work, I may be looking elsewhere.

Clean, comfortable and wonderful staff In a word, lovely, the location, the staff, and the facility. All of the staff were very polite and friendly, and the property was clean and well maintained, including the attractive pool area . I will definitely stay again when we return to visit the area.
