Outstanding Accessibility to the White House and the National Mall I spent a week in DC due to a seminar at the Decatur House and this location was outstanding! The White House was just a couple of blocks away and our group was able to easily access the subway and see key locations throughout the city. We used Uber to visit Georgetown. Parking was $55 a day so I would recommend using public transportation if you are able. The breakfast choices were typical and consistent. The staff worked continuously to meet the needs of our large group and responded swiftly when a rambunctious group of guests got out of hand. Tea and coffee were available throughout the day and cookies were available in the afternoon. Housekeeping cleaned the room every other day or by request. The room had a miniature coffee maker, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. The small pool and exercise room were in the basement. I would definitely return!

Cheers to the Manager Yoben and the Team My husband and I want to thank the team at the Hampton Inn White House Washington DC for making out 25th anniversary so wonderful. We appreciate the special touches in the upgraded suite. The breakfast was my favorite breakfast that the Hampton serves and although it might seem irrelevant- having mustard was a RARE bonus. Everything was clean. And it was wonderful to be greater as we entered and left the premises. We hope that the hotel is still here in five years so we can celebrate our 30th here too.

Putting this properry on repeat Great location and property, very kind staff. Close to Metro station, 2 blocks from the White House. Felt very safe and clean. Breakfast was good; my daughter loved the cinnamon roll batter for the waffles! The room was great for our family of 4. The only complaint is the shower curtains were a bit short, allowing water all over the floor if you didn't get it situated just right. There is street noise since you are downtown but it wasn't disruptive to us. We came from spending 4 days in a convention hotel; the smaller size of this hotel was a welcome change. We would 100% stay here again on a future DC trip.

Good hotel great location. Good comfortable bright hotel with helpful staff and excellent location. Breakfast was adequate but reliance on throwaway catering (paper ware and plastic cutlery) disappointing. Could be great with proper focus on breakfast experience with reusable ware.

Avoid room 211 Generally the hotel seems decent. Unfortunately I’m convinced I was in the worst room in the building. If you end up in room 211, you’re better off sleeping in the hallway. The room faces the back of the building where the dumpsters are. There are no blackout curtains so you’re basically sleeping in complete brightness coupled with the fact that at any hour of the night dump trucks will come pick up trash and sound alarms that you can’t avoid hearing. If I was in a different room, I expect I would have had a different experience.
