Visited for the Waterloo Irish Fest Interesting is a word used by another review... The Pros: great price, staff was pleasant and accommodating, updated door locks, close enough to walk to the Irish Fest and covered parking. The Cons: our non-smoking room reeked of pot and the guests in non-smoking room next door were clearly smoking because it was literally coming through our bathroom vent. Dated and worn furniture, shower handle loose and hard to adjust, noisy AC unit that cooled fine but woke me several times during the night, linens had cigarette burns in them and breakfast was skimpy.

Find a different hotel Don’t stay here. The sink was rusted out, elevators didn’t work. My room was on the fourth floor. I had a hard time finding the place not very well signed. I had a lamp if I want to use it I have to find an outlet to plug it in holes in the curtain was unable to block the light out of the building. Felt unsafe. Watch the front desk kicking people out that we’re not staying at the hotel. Found trash in the hallway. Vending machines to not have product in them. Bed was not that comfortable. Smelled like pot everywhere. Breakfast was good and Fronter at the front desk was nice.

Manager is Great..Not her fault she has this hotel We stayed here Aug 10, 2021. First, please ,know, when we were they the hotel had just been acquired by the Choice Hotel Group. The manager there at the time was great. It is not here fault she received a worn out building. First, it was hard to find at 1 am . Next, there were no restaurants near. The area was dark and looked "spooky". The vending machines in the hotel were empty. Our experience was bad. We did get a refund. I would say to all traveling "get to your motel early and have a plan B". In case you need to switch. This hotel may by improved by now. I did receive a refund.

Don't Ever... The only good thing I can say about this place is that the room was clean. HOWEVER, room numbers written on door in magic marker, keys didn't work multiple times, toilet wouldn't flush, staff disorganized (tho polite) , ice machine didn't work, something smelly leaking the entire time from upper floors into lobby, carpet on our floor (3rd) dirty and smelled of urine, creepy neighborhood, tons of cig butts outside the entry door. Apparently there are better hotels nearby, but we didn't know this at the time!!
