No power, no problem, thanks to Embassy Suites Valley Forge Getting hit with a severe thunderstorm that knocked out all the power in our neighborhood with an estimated 3-day restoration timeline and a severe heat wave to boot was NOT how our family planned to spend our daughter’s 2nd birthday. Luckily, Embassy Suites Valley Forge had some rooms available at the last second. When Mohamed checked us in he helped us get a suite with 2 rooms to make it the best experience for our toddler’s birthday (and to accommodate two grown adults and a dog to boot!). Overall, a stellar experience that was much appreciated by our family!

Lovely Hotel, Well-situated The hotel was close to where we needed to go and to highways. It has a beautiful lobby, a tasty restaurant, and buffet breakfast daily, with an omelette station. It was also pet-friendly and they had dog bags set up around the property. The rooms were pleasant and spacious, one bedroom suites with a small living room, two tvs, a mini fridge and microwave, and the bed was comfortable. They also had glass elevators and the upper floors overlooked the lobby, a nice touch at an attractive facility. The only complaint was how terrible the omelette station got backed up, particularly on Sunday morning. Get there early. They had already closed the other sections while people were still on line and they ran out of coffee. Unthinkable!

Ok but not up to ES standards. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was good, like most Embassy suites had made to order omelettes, etc The room was the issue. There were broken hooks in the bathroom. I understand people put too heavy items on them. But fix them. Then after a long day of travel, I couldn't get the shower on. The handle would not turn. My husband was asleep. So I had to wash at the sink. We don't bring a wrench when we travel. The next morning, my husband struggled with the shower. I called the front desk and asked if he could use the shower in an empty room. They said engineering came in at 8:00. We wanted an early start to go Valley Forge and then Philadelphia earlier in the day. He finally got the shower to work. When he turned it off, it leaked. Frustrating way to start the day. The man from Engineering did knock on our door after breakfast. We explained the problem but said we were getting ready to leave. I'd find another hotel in the area for the price

Nice hotel, nice breakfast. Very nice hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. The best thing was breakfast. Eggs and omelets made to order. Also several other choices not seen in other free hotel breakfasts. Only room issue was paint on shower ceiling peeling. However, we were a little annoyed at check-in. We checked-in online and chose a room. We went to the counter to get a room key card. The gentlemen said, "I give you different room." I asked why, and the response was, "Room no good." Is it that hard to find someone that speaks english to operate your front desk?

Fantastic Front Desk sets the tone for the stay This is my "go to" hotel for business travel in the area and I have stayed in excess of 14 times in the past 3 years. The primary reason for my repeat business is the staff. In a world where customer service is hard to find, the staff makes it a priority. They are efficient, accomodating, friendly and set the tone for the stay, This takes on additional importance when you are away from home and they understand this. In my most recent stay, I had a need to change the type of room to accomodate an additional traveler. Mohammed took the time to listen to my request, showed great understanding and after great effort was able to make the change. He really went out of his way to address my need in addition to being just a joy to work with. He said that his mother had told him to treat people right He did her very proud in his interaction.
