Over night trip This is a nice hotel. The staff were all very friendly. Was upgraded to a suite which was nice. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were ok. Walk-in shower that had good pressure and hot water. The gym is a decent size. There’s a fancy mall about a half mile from here that I walked to for dinner. There’s no convenience stores around if you want snacks or drinks though so you’re stuck with the hotel store.

Loyalty...what’s that? RUN from this hotel visit Palm Beach Gardens Marriott instead I travel over 100 nights a year, and usually stay at the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott . This time thought I would try the West Palm Beach Marriott. WHAT A CONTRAST! First the rooms at Palm Beach Gardens Marriott are updated , clean and nice.... this hotel old Marriott 90s look with green and beige & awful pool compared to PBG Marriott.. Then being a Titanium member, zero upgrade and the hotel had plenty of suites open to purchase the night I stayed....and I was here for 1 night. But the WORST was the blatant lack of Loyalty benefits. No lounge open - sure I get that - but instead you get a $10 F&B credit ....oh and good luck buying breakfast for $10 at their restaurant which is open! At the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott their lounge is closed they give you breakfast in the restaurant for 2! Not at West Palm Beach Marriott . What a RIP OFF - and if they think loyalty member find $10 credit valuable they need to clue in .The two hotels are in the same cities , same local laws for COVID......but the West Palm Beach Marriott is completely using COVID as a way to NOT deliver to loyalty members. SKIP THIS HOTEL - do yourself a favor and visit Palm Beach Gardens Marriott instead. Oh and you will save on parking too & if I didn’t mention West Palm Beach Marriott was priced MORE than Palm Beach Gardens Marriott.

Nice Place to Stay The location for the hotel is great, getting there a little awkward right off the causeway, but you think you are arriving in the service entrance. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are okay. Our toilet was coming off the base, but other than that, a clean, well-run, hotel.

Solid Stay Pros: Nice suite upgrade and birthday amenity, restaurant was open all day and reasonably priced, quiet room, personable staff including housekeeping in the halls, at the restaurant and front desk. Cons: Location was not the best - I tried walking to Rosemary Square but the pedestrian light would not change to walk at a large and busy intersection so had to run across against the lights and Uber the short distance back to the hotel - would have preferred a location on the other side of the railway tracks, restaurant menu was very limited - just short order meals and nothing terribly interesting. At another West Palm Beach now and each of the two restaurants has much better menu options. A lot of dumb and selfish guests not respecting the mask mandate. Tip: the hotel has an airport shuttle. This was not obvious to me from any of the information on the Marriott app when I booked or when liaising with the ambassador team in advance of my stay so I didn’t get to use it - had I known about it I would have saved the Uber fare.

Never again If you aren't a rewards member this is the hotel for you. Keep in mind the security at this property is very lacking. Normally a key card is required to get to the elite level floors. This is not the case at this property. There is a sign and a sensor in the elevators, but the sensors do not work. So anyone off the street can come into the hotel jump in an elevator, hit any button and get to all floors and that my friends is unacceptable and very dangerous. First of all I'm a Marriott Titanium for Life member, which has a lot of perks at the vast majority of Marriott family of hotels. This hotel seems to overlook these perks. I recently stayed at this property September 4-7. I checked in the day before on my app and my key cards were ready upon my arrival. I had asked for an upgraded room and the desk associate said the room I have is a “larger” king room, It wasn’t. As you can imagine I have stayed in many rooms and know the difference. Not even an upgrade. I also checked on the occupancy rate and it was at or below 60%. That’s why I asked for an upgrade, because in my experience some associates don’t really want to take the extra time to accommodate loyal members. I’ve been a Marriott rewards member for 14 years. I don’t often have to ask for an upgraded room, but when the occupancy is at 60% it really shouldn’t be that difficult to upgrade a member especially when the staff has almost three days’ notice.
