Not good Unless you are desperate for money I would stay away. This place is your average 1960's motel and shows its age. Our unit (120) was on the street and had a light right outside one of the picture windows shining inside all night since there were no blackout curtains. The faucets were installed backwards and plumbed backwards also. Unit has poor lighting and almost no outlets for chargers. The bed was not horrible but could have used a better mattress. This is your typical $50 a night motel room but not worth $200+. Pay more and get a reasonable place.

Not impressed _ Old, wore out. PROS: nice towels, strong water pressure in shower. CONS: Bed was VERY hard, old. Rug needs to be cleaned. Parking lot has HUGE pot holes. NO Refrigerator, No Coffee maker. COVID is over. 1 light in room No place in bathroom to put your stuff.

Budget option near Yellowstone It was not a good value for the money; however, NONE of the accommodations in / near Yellowstone are good values because they are triple the price of their worth due to their proximity to Yellowstone. This is the cheapest motel in the West Yellowstone area just outside the park. It is a combination of two adjacent motels - Dude Motel and Roundup Motel. The reception desk is located inside the newly painted Dude Motel, which I'm guessing houses the remodeled rooms. The receptionist wasn't rude, but he wasn't friendly, either. My friend and I were given a room in the Roundup Motel across the street, which looked like a very old Motel 6. The room inside was clean, but very basic with an old TV and furniture. The bedspreads, carpet, and drapes were dingy and stained. The A/C was loud, but worked. The bath towels were small, rough, and somewhat stained. The Wi-Fi did not work at all. No fridge or microwave. No ice machine. My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights because we wanted to be close enough to explore Yellowstone for a few days. We were out all day from sunrise to dark, so we really just needed a place to crash. As such, it was fine.

Pleasantly surprised with the room and the interior quality I had booked this motel, because this was probably only budget friendly option in the west Yellowstone, near the park entrance. Frankly I was not expecting much, other than basic room to stay. However, to our pleasant surprise, it was an amazing place to live. Probably I got the recently renovated room, that might be the reason. The interior was nice, spacious, neat & clean. The location couldn't be perfect. Walking distance from convenience store and restaurants and just minutes away from the west entrance for Yellowstone national park. The place might look a little shady from the outside, but dont judge the book by its cover!

A Geat Experience We just spent four nights in the Dude/Roundup over Labor Day weekend. It may not look as fancy as you would like, but the room was clean, everything worked and the beds were oh so comfy. The wife and I slept like babies. It is an easy walk to everything in town and just one turn to get into Yellowstone NP. My only complaint was that the parking spaces were a bit tight and the lines were very worn. Thus, no fifth star.
