A nightmare night We were kept up half the night by the people next door. They were screaming and cursing. We called the front desk. 30 minutes later they were banging against the wall. We called again and the front desk call them. Z30 minutes later the put their TV on full blast. We called the front desk again 30 minutes later they were making noise again. Finally they stopped. The front desk needed to step and did not. They have not security at all. The front desk person is all alone at night Our visit. Started out great. Michelle help us get an early check in as we had a party to attend. That worked out great. Thank you Michelle The hotel is rather dingy. One elevator was out of order. The one that was working the carpet was stained and dirty, as well had a foul odor I spoke to the manager and he promised to credit our one night. We were there 2 nights. I am glad he was concerned

Stay away from this hotel. Stayed two nights to attend a high school reunion. The minute we walked in I felt we made a big mistake by booking this hotel. Bad vibes from the beginning. Lobby was run down, furniture upholstery was stained and filthy so much so, I did not want to sit anywhere. The elevators were filthy and smelled of pot. The hallways to the rooms smelled like smoke. The suite we reserved was not up to the standards of other Hilton Garden Inns in which I’ve stayed. Again, the upholstery was stained and dirty. One upholstered club chair looked like a cat used the chair as a scratching post. Again, I did not sit on any of the furniture. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable but the bathroom tub was covered in brown water stains. We asked for additional towels which did not come which meant another interaction with the uncaring staff. The parking lot of the hotel was another experience. We had to leave the hotel at 4:00AM to catch a flight out of JFK. When we got to our car, we could not get into the driver’s side as the car that parked next to us parked so close to us that entry into our car was impossible without getting into the passenger door and climbing over into the driver’s seat. We noticed the car next to us had paper bags covering their car windows. We discovered something was strange and realized someone was sleeping or living in that car. We drove away and will never return again. I suggest you avoid this hotel at all costs.

Not for $500/night We booked the Jr. Suite, which was more like an Infant Suite. The hallway and room smelled like cigarette smoke and weed. They didn’t clean our room and we only got 3 towels even though we booked for 5 people. I could pay $99 a night for the same ish in Hempstead.

Rude and horrible service. The hotel front desk, including managers, are very rude and unhelpful. I am a Diamond member and they would not give me a refund for a cancellation that was just shy of their 48 hour policy. I was continuously put on hold and transferred around on the phone. They charged me for a hotel room I did not use. Pick another option.

Worst Hilton Garden Inn I’ve Experienced I’m a diamond member and have bee for many years. I believed I could book a HGI without doing additional research, but this stay proved me wrong. First, the only greeting from the front desk was a request for pic id. No other words spoken. The lobby was old and worn with damaged furniture. My room had cheap damaged furniture. The hook on the bathroom door was hanging by on screw upside down. There was a general sense of uncleanliness. I left snd checked into the Courtyard across the street which was everything a HGI should be. It took 3 calls to the diamond desk to get $200 of my $250 back for this stay.
