Thanks, Jean, for the hospitality and exceptional service From the moment we arrived, Jean at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. She made our experience what it was for sure. She was fast and friendly with check-in and accommodated all our requests. The hotel itself is located in a nice area, it's clean and well kept. The breakfast area is a little tucked away, but the bar is warm and inviting. The room was a little small, but it was cozy and comfortable with a nice view of the mountains. I would stay here again and invite friends to stay as well.

Nice staff. Needs some renovation. The service was great. Front desk and restaurant personnel were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet good variety with regular dishware and table service for coffee and tea. They serve Starbucks coffee. Did not use bar but looked inviting. Beds comfortable but room rather small. The negative and reason I did not give a 5 is the condition of the facilities, especially the pool area, that are in dire need of renovation. The lobby area and hallways are nice but around the pool and spa paint is chipping, the ceiling is peeling and the pool and spa have dingy colored water. The spa also has large cracks on the wall, weak jets and the pipes are very noisy. The pool towels were a nice size but had large holes and tears. I would stay here again but probably would not use the pool/spa until they renovate.

Awful traffic noise Came in for a one night stay on a road trip as a diamond member. While the summary on Trupadvisor says they have a lounge they do no longer have one which is a let down. I booked a king deluxe and was assigned a room facing US-83. It was downright an absolute awful night where I managed to get only 2 hrs of sleep. The windows are thin with no insulation so you hear everything going on outside. No way to close it better or whatnot. I only slept because I had earplugs inside noise canceling headphones which I put on with “white noise”. I could still hear motorcycles and high revved engines as they passed by. The receptionist never acknowledged my diamond status and neither did she ask how my stay was when checking out. I was so tired when checking out that I didn’t have any energy left to complain. My experience with Hilton after the pandemic is that they no longer care either. I expect that the only response I would have gotten would have been “sorry about that, have a good day”. The “let us make it right” that doubletree had before is gone. Unless you’re guaranteed a room facing away from the highway I suggest you avoid this property completely.

Avoid at all cost We stayed here three nights ago and while our room was less than stellar (and they charged me twice for the one night) we just needed sleep and a shower, so we made do. I had already booked the same hotel for tonight and it was non-refundable, or I would have cancelled and booked something else. While we were at a concert at Red Rocks this evening I got a voicemail from the hotel letting me know there was a “maintenance issue” and our room had to be cancelled. I was about to begin looking for an alternative during the concert when the hotel called back and said, “sorry to give you a scare, but we do have a room for you, but it’s a different room type.” Ok, cool. It’ll work. So after the concert we drove 30 minutes to the hotel and arrived at 12:18 a.m. only to be told they don’t have a room for us after all. No one bothered to call us back and tell us. So, here we sit in the hotel parking lot, exhausted, unable to find any other lodging options in the city, and it’s going on 1 a.m. We’ll be sleeping in the parking lot tonight before going to the airport tomorrow for a full day of travel. To say this has been a nightmare is an understatement. Avoid this place at all cost.

Not as Bad as I Expected We had stayed at the Double Tree in Greeley, CO and it was excellent in every way. After reading reviews of the Westminster location, we were concerned. The hotel is older and needs extensive refurbishing, but the area has deteriorated since it was built so Hilton is probably milking it. Our room was clean and had no mold issues unlike other complaints. The staff was nice, friendly, and helpful. We expressed concern about car break ins that others had mentioned and the maintenance manager over heard us and took us outside and pointed out the best places to park, including offering to let us park in a handicapped spot near the entrance. He mentioned that the area was gnarly, but had heard of no recent problems. I passed on the handicapped spot and found a place heard the front. An early morning walk with the dog revealed no problems in the full parking lot. There were complaints about the AC not working. Ours worked but probably not as well as a newer unit would. We asked housekeeping for a fan and one arrived immedately. I needed something printed and asked the receptionist for the business center and pointed to a table with a bunch of outlets and no computers or printers. I emailed her what I needed printed which worked out fine. The outside needs the landscaping attended to and the trash picked up. The clientele here isn’t the best. There are nicer places to stay near there but this Doubletree was acceptable. Hilton should think about rebranding it or spending a lot of money to bring it up to the quality of the Greeley location.
