Good experience The room smelt clean when I walked in for the first time. The towels smelt clean and looked clean. Some of the towels were fluffy. This hotel accepted my dog. It’s quiet and the staff is kind. You need anything for your room, just ask them. I could not leave my dog in the hotel room when I leave to work is the only down side. Safe environment for a single female who travels with a small dog.

Mountain Retreat It was good. Warm heat, hot shower, good bed and good lighting. Breakfast was good. Check in was fast and easy. Housekeeping services was quick and fast to access. Good price deals for the room. Happy I decided to get a reasonable rate at the Super 8 will return soon.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY POSITIVE REVIEWS! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY ANY POSITIVE REVIEWS! They must be written by the owners or staff. This was by far the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. The outside was sketch to begin with but the room was absolutely disgusting. I could deal with the outdated decor but there was mold in the bathroom, the tub was dirty and had cigarette stains on it, the floor filthy and stained, and the door between it and the room wouldn’t even close. There were cobwebs above the bed, the ceiling had water damage, and you there was a large gap between the door and the wall that let a draft in. If I hadn’t been with family on our way to Maine for my mother’s birthday, I would have demanded a refund immediately and slept in my car. At this point, I’ll be grateful if I didn’t pick up bedbugs or a communicable disease. I wouldn’t stay here again in a million years even if it were the last room on earth and they paid me! ZERO STARS!

The Not Super 8 This is by far the worst Super 8, I have ever stayed in. The hotel room was cleaned last decades ago. There is indeed a housekeeping staff, but they were busy chain-smoking in the back of the hotel. If you need a place to sleep, this is it, but understand that it will be gross. I lost count of spiderwebs on my walk from the car. There are excessive signs for “remodeling” but based on visuals this is just an excuse for it to be subpar. As roughly a 5 foot 10 man, the disgusting shower head only would go high enough to pressure wash my nipples. This wouldn’t be the worst thing if the shower head did not look like they got it out of the white river. When turning on the shower, you have to pull the faucet head so far you are pulling it into New Hampshire. Had to head to the New Hampshire Walmart to make sure we had a suitable blanket. As we left the bed made to sleep. My wife bought slippers because she did not want to walk in the carpets. You can hear everything from the rooms around, so clearly that you can participate with their convos. If you run out of toilet paper, and since they do not clean, you will have to ask the desk for it. We left this hotel thinking that the owner wants to put no money in to it for improvement because he/she/they know they can rent the rooms based on location so they don’t have to spend a dime to make it better. Don’t get too excited about the “continental” breakfast. Their warm food items are only warm cuz of a toaster. It included blueberry muffins, some eggs waffles and bagels that were right around a sponge. The only option that worked on the drink machine was water. Don’t get too excited about the orange or apple juice. They offer 24/7 coffee, and bad coffee, is still indeed coffee. This is ranked as the worst Super 8, I have ever stayed in. Hands down, no questions asked. Other hotels are more expensive, but I will be bypassing this hotel for others on our annual Vermont fall trips.
