Super 8 by Wyndham Wichita Falls

Gross but not dangerous Your typical rundown motel. Didn’t use the towels because they looked USED and were crispy for some reason. Toilet paper roll had stains on it. Roaches of course. Overall pretty icky. The room at least smelled inoffensive and the bed didn’t seem too dirty. The free breakfast does not exist anymore! So beware of that. Funny the swimming pool got filled in with grass and they still have a no diving sign on the ground. Good parking availability. Didn’t see any shady characters.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We decided to drive a few hours from home and spend the night to make our next day’s drive shorter. Got to Wichita Falls and stopped at the HoJo since it was on our way out of town on 287. Big mistake! HUGE! We asked for a double room. Got our keys and went in. It was late so we were just going to go to bed. My husband went to go to the bathroom and there was hair on the toilet and urine all over the floor. Pulled back the covers and there was blood and hair all over the sheets. Absolutely disgusting! I was not letting my kids stay there. We loaded our things back in the car and went straight to the office. Told the man at the desk we wanted a refund because the room was filthy and we weren’t staying. He refused to refund us. He said we had been there “a while”. I said it had only been 15-20 minutes at most and he said no. You’ve been here a while. Our policy says we cannot refund you. First, that was a lie. It was 1037 when we pulled up and went into the office, had to wait for a woman in front of us to check in, got checked in ourselves, hauled four people’s luggage from the car to the room, loaded everything back up, and after he refused to refund us and we returned to the car, the clock said 1101. We obviously had not been in the room “for a while” and he knew it. He gave us a nasty room knowing we would not stay and he knew he would lie and refuse to return our money. If you’re a crackhead and don’t care - stay in their nastiness! But if you’re a decent person, you don’t want to stay anywhere near this place! I only wish we hadn’t been in such a hurry to leave that we didn’t take pictures for me to show y’all how bad it was!!

Never again!! I would. It stay here again if it was free! The manager was rude, asked a lot of personal questions. I felt like I was treated like a home less person. I had to ask several questions, only to be talked too like a child.

A Restful Night Stay I stopped over for the night in Wichita Falls, Texas on my way back home from Colorado. I was just too tired to travel any further. The property was okay for the amount of time I was there. It seems to be undergoing a renovation. The service was excellent - the man at the front desk who checked me in was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy - definitely in need of some updates. Overall, I was fine with my stay.

DUMP! Dont stay here. Filthy drug and party hotel. Found blood smeared on the toilet seat and walls. Looked like a fight was in there. A dog had totally chewed up the door trim and scratched up the door. Refrigerator was dented and scratched up. I asked for a new room and the woman said it was not blood it was nail polish. No it was blood. Gave me another room and it was also filthy. Door trim cracked and misc nails slammed in to hold it. Walls and door filthy, Remote control filthy. I turned on the shower and water sprayed out in all directions. UTTERLY UNBELIEVABLE! Avoid this place.
