This hotel is not wotlrth the money. It's old, dirty, and sketchy people hanging around the parking lot. We will not be back to this hotel. The hallways reeked of an awful odor, I literally had to hold my nose walking to my room. Our room key didn't work, even after getting 3 different ones. We had to put it in and out at least 4-5 times. One of our friends room was dirty and bed not changed.

Adequate for an extended stay. We stayed here several nights while visiting family in Wichita. The reception area was minimal, rather like an apartment house rather than a hotel. We found the room clean and spacious enough for our purposes, although our electronic keys didn't always open the outside door closest to our room. The "breakfast" consisted of the breakfast equivalent of a bag lunch, but with the equipment provided in the room, we could make coffee and refrigerate orange juice that we got at Dillons. I did miss having hair dryer in the room, although I later found out that you could check one out at the desk. The bed was quite comfortable and there was plenty of space on the desk area. We did find the kitchen equipment rather minimal but if we'd wanted to cook, we could have made do. Especially if you have reason to be using the medical establishments all around, this would be a good place for an extended stay.

Couple hiccups but nice stay Pretty easy-going traveler so though there were some hiccups, I'd recommend this place. Worked 12 hrs without food in the heat and just wanted to get inside and finish up work and eat in the cool. Three times I had to go downstairs carrying two armloads of stuff because the card reader would not work. The guy behind the desk was excellent and helpful. If I was the first guest where the card didn't work, that's just hard luck that cannot be helped. Eventually, the clerk moved me to a bigger room downstairs. Took a sec to get the air conditioner to actually cool, and I had to borrow a cable from the second tv in the bedroom to make the main tv work. Other than that, pretty nice stay. It's a great facility, especially for a prolonged stay. Everything seemed clean and in working order (could have used some hot water in shower but again, that happens). Even had to turn down the AC after a while once it really starting cooling. Comfortable bed, clean and large bathroom, full kitchen area. Wi-fi was super fast, decent selection of channels on tv. Location was great. Didn't want a sketchy area and this is on the newly developed part of Webb Road, right off K96 so very easy access.

Do not recommend If you have an animal allergy, don’t stay here. Our room had an overwhelming smell of cat spray and white animal hair all over the floor. When I asked the front desk if they had rooms that animals don’t stay in her response was “we deep clean our rooms”. I also was offered a medical rate at check in since my husband was at Kansas Heart Hospital but then was told at check out that they cannot honor that price since I reserved online. Finally spoke to a manager who did credit me the difference for the medical rate and promised to give me 10,000 points which is equal to a free nights stay for the nasty room. I’ve never received those points and have called several times and the manager assured me I would get them, it just takes time. I waited six months to write this review and still no points. We used to love this place when it was Candlewood Suites but Sonesta has ran it in the ground. Don’t waste your money here. Stay at a hotel on the other side of the highway. There’s several other great options in this area.
