Nice Facility, But No Hospitality Feeling I’ve gone to many Red Roof Inns, and this was the third one on this particular road trip. The facility was very nice, clean, and comfortable. However, I had come down with a very cold previous to this. I wanted to stay a third night, but they were sold out for a basketball tournament. I can understand this, but I was so sick; I could hardly move; and their main concern was just getting me out of the room. I needed a late checkout, and with no sympathy from the manager; they kept my $100 deposit for checking out late, and for having to clean the carpet supposedly because of my litter box trained rabbits. The rabbits did admittedly hide under the bed, and two of the housekeeping staff (that I tipped well) had to lift the bed, so we could get them out. What was under that bed; was an accumulation of years of filth, and that carpet was long overdue for a cleaning…..but yet they took advantage of the situation to charge me for it. Also, no Kleenexes and complimentary bottles of water, as all other Red Roof Inns have. Not a friendly place! Two rabbit ears down!! (\ (\ ( -.-) o_(“)(“)

No communication We canceled one room upon arriving the middle of the afternoon (used 5 of the 6 reservations), and was told it would be canceled, but so far it is still charged to our credit card. And I can't get a hold of anyone there, because their phone is disconnected.

DO. NOT. STAY. HERE DESERVES ZERO STARS- We booked the TWO room King suite for my daughters 7th birthday party. The lady at the front desk not only seen us carry in two bags off balloons but also acknowledged us by calling OUR ROOM to ask us to move the balloons from the hallway to inside the room. She also acknowledged me again when I went to pick up our door dash pizza order, and headed to the pool to eat poolside and she just asked "that we don't eat inside the pool gates" NOT ONCE did she or ANYone mention that having a 'party' would result in them keeping my $100 deposit. IN FACT upon check out i asked not once BUT TWICE when I would get my deposit back, and was told I would have it within two days... again a opportunity to explain there was a no party policy in place. In addition to this TERRIBLE experience, the HEATER in the living area of the "suite" which was absolutely disgusting to say the least, DIDNT WORK AT ALL, blew out freezing cold air AND the TV in the living area was in SPANISH and we couldn't even use it. We checked out on 12/16 and today, 12/18 I call to check on my deposit, the first answer I was given was that we left BALLOONS on the floor in the room, we have air blow balloons, maybe SIX balloons left. Then she comes back on the phone and says we left TRASH every where, which is complete BULL***, I would never ever leave trash everywhere all trash was tied in plastic bags. The last time she comes back on the phone she informs me of this "no party" policy and supposedly this is why im not getting my $100 deposit back. DO NOT STAY HERE. ITS GROSS, the walls have mold, the suites are ran down. No breakfast, even though it is advertised. The "heated" pool is FREEZING. This place is disgusting and so is the staff by lying directly to customers faces.

Rude Untrained Uncaring front desk staff My recent experience with Red Roof Plus hotel in Wichita East was an absolute nightmare. Firstly, the desk personnel were rude and unhelpful, which immediately set the tone for a frustrating stay. When we arrived at our room, we discovered that it only had one bed for four people, despite having reserved a room with two beds. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they initially claimed to have two-bed rooms available, but later said they were sold out. This inconsistency and lack of clear communication was frustrating and made our stay even more unpleasant. To make matters worse, the desk personnel charged my credit card for the room, even though it had already been paid for through a third party. This was unacceptable and added to the already negative experience we were having. But the worst part of our stay was when we were turned away at the hotel on a Saturday night with no other place to stay. This left us stranded and feeling helpless. Overall, my experience with Red Roof hotels was extremely disappointing. The rude and unhelpful staff, incorrect room booking, payment issues, and being turned away with no alternative accommodations were all major issues that need to be addressed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and suggest they find a more reliable and professional accommodation for their stay. Thank You Carla

Avoid at all cost We were "greeted" by an employee who didn't seem to understand basic customer service. He was vague with answers, and stopped himself halfway through telling about amenities to say "well, you can read for yourself" as he shoved a piece of paper towards us. Strange. The real problems began when we got trapped in the elevator for over 20 minutes. When the staff finally arrived to assist us, they accused us of causing the problem (guess what - we didn't!). They made a few halfhearted attempts to open the door before leaving, ostensibly to call an elevator repair service. About 10 minutes later I called the front desk again to check on the status of the repair crew. When I asked how long the crew would take to arrive they refused to tell me what the repair crew said (I could hear someone in the background saying 30 minutes), just giving us a vague "soon." Rather than assisting us and our child, the desk staff members left us alone in their elevator until a guest found us and was able to free us. When we finally got back to our room the I immediately phoned the desk clerk. When I told her we were free, she had the audacity to get angry at me, telling us that the repair crew "is already on their way." She refused to discuss a refund, telling us we needed to ASK for a refund upon checkout. When we checked out I asked for our refund, as I had been instructed. The checkout clerk was unable to process our refund, telling us instead to contact the general manager (whom I had emailed the night before after the ordeal). About 12 hours later (nearly 24 hours after being trapped), I was finally able to get in touch with general manager (phone calls, text messages, and emails all went unanswered). Again, I was given vague promises that he would "check into it." As of today, almost 48 hours after being trapped in their faulty elevator, I am still waiting for a refund and apology. TLDR: Don't stay here!
