We will definitely return. Amazing! What an experience! From the moment we arrived til the time we left we were treated like royalty and old friends. Reception staff (10th july 2025) were welcoming and friendly. The room was spectacular. Honeymoon suite. 2 bathrooms, his and hers, dipped choc strawberries on arrival with prosecco and beers in an ice bucket. Then greated at half 3 for afternoon tea by Mike who could not do enough for us. Sandwiches, scones and cakes were lovely, we chose to eat in the sunshine as it was beautiful. Mike put up sun shades incase we needed it, filled up tea when wanted, and couldn't be more accommodating. Then an hour til inclusive drinks. 6 til 11. With an evening meal at half 7. Meal was outstanding. Huge portions and we didn't want a dessert as we were too full but as it was my birthday, the waiter Mike Brought out a dessert with 2 glasses of fizz. So sweet. The room sang happy birthday...although I nearly died of embarrassment it was lovely... Then Mike and callum made sure we had an amazing evening. Showed us around and even the wedding function rooms. I felt like I was talking to old friends. Then Mike said goodbye at the end of his shift. Breakfast the next morning was lovely. Local meat and lots to eat. We then took another pot of tea outside to enjoy in the sunshine. Checked out and the receptionist was amazing too. We will return. Thank you so much to all the team.

Nice Hotel Nice Hotel. The room was larger than most with a comfortable bed and decent decor. The walls are quite thin so it wasn't the quietest but my main concern was the door adjoining with the room next door. I think it was a foreign chap and I could hear him rattling with all the hangers and then tried to open the door got to mine and tried to open that as well. Maybe he was expecting a walk in wardrobe. Anyway it made me laugh more than anything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My TV didn't work and the shaving mirror bulb was blown. Not big issues for me and the lady in reception made notes for maintenance when I checked out. I am confident these will be fixed when possible. Running a hotel is not easy. I would definitely stay again. Didn't get to try the restaurant as I was just too tired to eat. Maybe next time.

OUTSTANDING AGAIN This is our third stay at The Everglades Hotel Widnes in 2025 & I have just booked for our fourth stay in September 2025 for my 75th birthday, all because the Hotel staff are outstanding as is the food served at breakfast & dinner along with the value on the All Inclusive package. I must thank the General Manager Angie(scrambled egg 120) for running such a fantastic team & hotel. The warmth, care & compassion shown by all the staff just shines through because of Angie,s leadership from the front. During our stay there was an 80th birthday party & we asked if we could pop in for a dance & we were welcomed with open arms, my daughter is confined to a wheelchair & the birthday guests were just fantastic in welcoming her into their party and danced with us, so nice thank you. We look forward to our stay & seeing you all again in September. Ken & family.

Devastatingly poor breakfast service. Bit of a shame in all. The hotel is tired and rather overpriced as such. The one thing that really disappointed was breakfast service, or lack of. A wait of over an hour before our order was even taken. I understand a lack of staff can contribute, including a surge of guests, however, where this is the case, ensure the buffet element is kept well stocked while guests wait for the cooked items. No milk for cereal, no bread, no orange juice or water, no pastries, yoghurt all gone to mix with fruit. A polite request to have a refund for breakfast was refused. Won't be recommending or returning.

Not as described on the Tin Stayed here for a work meeting. The location was ok. The hotel whilst going through some upgrade the room I stayed in was not acceptable, I’m going to say the worst room I have stayed in for a long time. Food in the restaurant was overpriced and over cooked, the burger was nuked. On departure I asked if the room I had stayed in was part of the future refurbishment, they said no, I then gave them a list of the issues Mattress needs replacing Pillows not good enough Carpet frayed around the edges Debris under the bed Mould on bathroom ceiling Silicone used in between tiles Wardrobe hanger damaged Decor horrendous Won’t be staying there again
