Do not go to this place Absolutely filthy. The stench of cleaning chemicals was unbearable. I had to use the loo (obviously) and I washed my hands in the trickle of water in the sink but there was no way I could use the rest of the filthy bathroom. The place is old, uncared for and they should not be charging money for this. Awful experience.

A low bar even for a worldly traveller Wow. In the hotel for under 9 hours/day over 2 nights. The reviews scared us but we are hardened backpackers and not expecting much. Here is the thing, we oozed pleasantness to offset expected prickly reception service. We arrived late, maybe 9:30, and they found our reservation after about 10 min. Room access required ascending up a set of stairs that DO NOT MEET CURRENT CODE. The rise over run seemed perilous, especially when lugging up luggage. The room was cringey as expected, with the bed pulled away from the wall about 8”…(?) (no headboard) and lots of, um, debris, (dirt, dust, garbage there up against the wall). Same situation behind the dresser. Unfortunately, I had to stick my arm down behind it to switch on the power supply to the lamps and fridge. Really nasty back there, it’s been years since someone stuck a vacuum hose there. Fine, whatever. Sheets were a bit stained but seemed to be “washed”. Bed bug mattress protectors present and accounted for. Cigarette burns on bedspread (wow, haven’t seen THAT for a while). Water pressure was laughable but hot water was present. Hole in wall behind entry door. Access door swipe took many shots at it and eventually a replacement card to actually work. Room heater/air con rickety but functioned. Fine. But, I left yesterday morning and now my husband and I are seeing welts all over our bodies. Neck, trunk, arms, fingers. Small, large, up to 4” red swellings. We are adult and healthy (well, less so now) It isn’t just a simplistic place, it is not healthy. Don’t bring a child, for any reason.

Avoid - It is a Dump I am not going to add anything new. Read the last 4 or 5 reviews with 1 star. My advice is just do not book this hotel. It is a dump. Just run away. I wish tripadvisor had negative number I would like to give zero or less.

Bad experience The guy behind the desk was ridiculously rude and arrogant. The place is an absolute dump. He told me I had to pay more to check in. He told he that he wouldn't check me in but the place was completely empty and a total dump
