Don't stay here. Accessible is a joke. Had a tub and the hand held shower head laying in the tub because no way to attach it. AC unit looked like it had had a fire. The cord under AC was covered with lots of dust. Saw several bugs. No luck with the TV. Floor very dirty .

hotel was ok but not aligned with vacation atmosphere. This hotel seems to have more handymen, and installer types staying for work, the internet did not work and breakfast was not served late enough. room needs some updates and minor repairs but could have just been the one I got. People were outside allot after midnight.

Cheap but still not worth it Where do I start? Very heavy police activity at this property due to the people who live there. Housekeeping is rude and they really don’t seem to do their job. I asked repeatedly for towels but instead of receiving them all the towels were taken out of our room while we were out. The room was never cleaned at all even though we requested for it to be and even sat outside one morning at the housekeepers request so she could clean it. Our key cards would randomly stop working and trying to get someone to come to the window after 9pm was a nightmare and when they did come they were rude. I had high hopes for this property because it was a Wyndham but never again.

It's Economy Lodging Not The Hilton Many of the recent 1 star reviews seem sketchy, and I don't know how much of the information is true or not true. The Baymont is a decent economy stay for a night or two with a pretty good location and reasonable rates, particularly if you book months in advance. The property looks very inviting from the road with its landscaping but needs a little TLC when you pull around to the rooms. Some of the hallways look a little rough, no ice machine in the back area and finally fix the swimming pool, it's summer. Our king room was fine and for $72, a bargain for weekend nights in Wilmington in the summer. The continental breakfast was very good and was a big reason for the 3 rating. They had 2 waffle machines and all the pastries, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, juices etc, but the Jimmy Dean large breakfast sandwiches were unexpected and very good. The lady running the breakfast room was wonderful and seemed on top of things. We will be back in town on a Friday in July and have decided to stay here again.

Nasty/Old Roaches..room smelled.. Vagrants in parking lot all night, noisy.I would not like to stay here again.
