Very disappointed We stopped here on our way back from dropping our daughter at college. We got in around midnight. I chose this hotel online because we needed a quick place to get some sleep and have breakfast. The website clearly says they offer breakfast and Starbucks coffee at the bistro, which we would have been happy to pay for. Other reviews also mention that they have breakfast. However, when we went down to find out what time breakfast started we were told they weren’t serving any breakfast. All they had was coffee in the lobby and it wasn’t even Starbucks. I was very disappointed as I chose this hotel because the website said they offer breakfast. The front desk seemed like they didn’t know what we were talking about when we asked but as I said before, other reviewers mentioned having breakfast. We were offered no apology or explanation. Marriott needs to update this website to better reflect the dining options at this hotel.

Disappointing This was not our first stay at this Courtyard but it will probably be our last. The bathroom was barebones--no towel bar other than the one over the toilet, no cups at the sink and the sheets (which I forgot about from our last trip) were scratchy. We took our own breakfast to the eating area. Barebones again. Out of napkins, only fake coffee creamer, and no one around to refill stuff. As we were eating, a few teenagers dribbled in. We had seen a bus and realized, when more teens came downstairs, that this must have been a teen tour. A few had masks around their necks, none had them over their nose or mouth--a superspreader in the making. I questioned the desk clerk, I admit I had just been eating and forgot to put the mask back up, he said "you're not wearing a mask." I apologized profusely and immediately pulled it up. Then I asked why he was promoting this large gathering of unmasked teens? He said "promoting?" I corrected myself by saying "allowing." I heard him say more people are traveling now. I walked away. I wasn't interested in talking to someone who should not have attitude. How simple it would have been for him to politely asked the group to put their masks on. Why aren't all the lights on where people can be spread out to eat, this area is dreary. Why was there some kind of return vent in the bathroom that made noise?

Amazing service, restores my faith in business travel after six months of avoiding it Had a great experience booking a room and Checking in late at night after a long day at work for an impromptu stay at the local Courtyard. Shakeya and Eamon at the front desk were wonderful. The whole process of booking a room and checking in was complete within minutes and done with the upmost professionalism and charm. Room itself is beautiful, the hotel is newly renovated and I am really going to enjoy this overnight stay! Thank you, Team Marriot.

Don’t stop here!!! First hotel experience with a courtyard -since the pandemic wont try that again Thought it would be a good break from our drive from NC to NY and have NEVER been more disappointed In a courtyard. NOT Covid prepared, no hand sanitizer anywhere in lobby. Front desk allowing people to walk around with out masks. Elevator filthy, room sparse and not clean and no Covid protocols - as a Marriott patron with Titanium status who travels frequently I was so shocked. Cost not and issue because able to use to points - and highway noise not even a factor just plain dirty and unsafe> kicker was charge $10 for parking and never informed of charge until I saw folio in email - they took a card for incidentals and I asked why they said if bought WATER
