Excellent service! At the last minute I had to secure another hotel room after 10:00pm with no reservation made prior. The lady at the desk was very nice and told me they had a room with one king bed. We went to the room and found that it had not been cleaned/serviced. We called the desk and she apologized and told us to come back to the desk for another room. This was just good business, but by the time we got back to the desk she had personally checked the new room before she gave it to us. Shortly after we got into the room, she called us to see if we were satisfied with the room. The last two actions were not actually necessary , but were GOOD customer service.

Yikes- What a horror show! Don't even slow your car down in front of this hotel! When we pulled in, we saw a group of workers (and it seemed hotel guests?) congregating in the parking lot, slinging back beers and breaking them in the dumpster. Two of them disappeared behind the dumpster to urinate in full view. Upon checking in, the hotel clerk, Danni, double charged my room, and didn't seem to have a clue as to how she did it or why it happened. She assured me that it would work itself out when the charge was processed the next day. We went to check out the room and were horrified- It seems it was in the middle of a remodel and is missing light switches, art from the walls and more. The bed cover was pilled and torn up, and the room was littered with plaster dust and damaged walls with random screws in them. We couldnt stay in the room. We checked out immediately and had to find accommodations in a hurry as it was late at night. Front desk Danni assured me I would not be charged, but for some reason, was not able to provide me with a receipt of the cancelled transaction. Spoiler alert- I was fully charged and processed for the room a week later. I just called the front desk to speak to the manager, and the woman at the front desk who answered attempted to transfer me, but disconnected the call instead. I called back a whopping 6 times, and there was no answer. I've sent them an email, and have yet to hear back.

Being Remodeled My husband and I stayed for a night during a road trip through Texas. It’s nice that they are remodeling the hotel and we didn’t mind that the pool and hot tub were closed, but we feel the room was not guest-ready. There was an exposed outlet in the bathroom with just masking tape covering it. The bathroom sink was missing it’s stopper, which is risky for a contact lens wearer. Also, the bathroom did not have any towel bars for hanging the towels. Most annoying was the smoke detector located right above the bed that was flashing all night long. There was also drywall debris in the halls and elevator; really, just sweep it up! Be aware that breakfast is not available until 7:00; which is late for guests traveling long distances who need to leave early. The desk clerk did allow us the get some rolls before we left; the fruit was way overripe. I guess we just expected better from this hotel chain.

Sick in Waco Like I said before, I had gotten sick while visiting family and the motel sure helped me be able to rest and recover. The front desk even brought water to me. Also I only reserved the room for one night but realized I wasn’t able to drive, so I worked it out that I could stay an extra night.
