Older hotel needs some TLC. We were traveling for a wedding and needed a two night stay and this hotel served its purpose. I do like that it had a full kitchen although you do have to ask for any type of cookware or serving to go in the kitchen. This is all so to Covid and many hotels never returned the items back to the room. It is set off to the back but many here are staying long term and you can hear everything. They do have a nice grill area in the front and sitting. The employees were very helpful and nice but the rooms are old and not sure can be cleaned appropriately at this point. Again keep in mind the price point so it served its purpose for two nights I wouldn’t want to be in it any longer.

Great affordable place with a few drawbacks We chose this hotel because it was one of the most reasonably priced in the area, that didn’t have negative reviews about bed bugs or fleas or cockroaches. We were traveling with 3 adults and 2 kids, so we wanted a safe, clean place to stay for the weekend. We were going to Busch Gardens for Howl-O-Scream, and this hotel is only about a 15 to 20 min drive from there, if that helps anyone.. So now, the pros: We got 2 rooms, both identical Queen bedroom suites with a pull out bed in the couch. Both rooms were very clean, spacious, and we loved the little kitchen with a stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, and lots of cabinet space. The staff was friendly enough, and the front desk is open 24/7 if you need something. One of the best parts is the location…there is a Kroger pretty much within walking distance if you need groceries, and a Walmart, lots of fast food options like Hardee’s and Taco Bell, and some great restaurants! There was a Texas Roadhouse close by, a Mexican restaurant, some others, and the one we chose…which was FANTASTIC, called Country Grill. Family friendly place that had super friendly service and amazing food, the kid’s menu had super generous portions! They served drinks but we didn’t order any. The whole place was decked out for Halloween. We didn’t sit outside because people were smoking out there, but it was a Friday night, and people were just having fun. Crowded but no wait. Great place. Lots of seating, both booths and tables. Anyway, back to the hotel! The shower was fantastic. Perfect water pressure and stayed hot through 4 separate showers, consecutively. Seemed like a safe place, saw lots of nice cars in the parking lot, & we stayed 2 nights, and saw the police patrolling. Good lighting in the parking lot at night, very bright, and the thermostat was such that it would switch between heat and air automatically, to keep it at the temperature that you set it at, which was great since it’s the time of year when weather changes quickly. The black out shades were pretty decent, but some light did come in from the lights in the parking lot outside. Nothing too bad though. The hide a bed mattress had plastic on it, so that was good, less worry about cleanliness. We didn’t use them, but they had a fitness room and laundry room. The breakfast was a grab and go, pretty big blueberry muffins, granola bars and things like that. I didn’t try the coffee..Starbucks was close by! I have to say, we would definitely stay there again. I will list the cons, but it really wasn’t so bad… Cons: we were ground level, and there was a lot of noise above us, even though we brought a sound machine. We wouldn’t have been able to sleep without the sound machine, and we were woken up a few times even still. It wasn’t crazy, just people walking around or dropping things, but it was loud. And frequent. Also, we were under the impression that there weren’t pets allowed, there was conflicting info online. I guess it used to be no pets, but there were definitely pets allowed, there were dogs everywhere and there was some dog fur in between the couch cushions when we made the pullout bed. Not anything that bothered us much, but if you’re allergic you might want to stay somewhere else. The parking was crazy, there is no dedicated parking spots. And Saturday night the lot was almost full and we had to park far from our room. Not fun. Also, we had 2 kids with us, and 2 adults in the room, and we didn’t have enough bedding or pillows, we asked the front desk and she would only give us one pillow! They don’t have enough I guess. And the bedding was sparse. We had to go back and get a different bottom sheet because it was still wet as if it just came out of the short cycle on the dryer. Also, the pillows were not very plush and went flat. Next, the tv was pretty small, but it was okay, but there was only one and if the kids were on their bed and we were on ours, we couldn’t really all see it. And, there weren’t many channels or tv options. We couldn’t get our Roku to work with the hotel’s network, to cast or watch shows. That was a big downside. We just wanted to relax and watch one of our binge shows before bed, but couldn’t. Another thing, they gave us almost nothing…not enough bathroom stuff like shampoo and soap, absolutely zero pots or pans or cups or plates or utensils…I mean nothing. And we would have had to keep going to the front desk in another building to retrieve these things, because they don’t bring them to you. You have to go to get things from them. Also, the wifi isn’t very good. You can pay to get faster wifi, which we didn’t bcuz it was over $6 for the day, and we didn’t think it was worth it, esp since we couldn’t cast or stream anything to the tv anyway. Also, while everything looked decent, the toilet in the bathroom was almost child sized, very small and low to the ground, and would move and lift up if you weren’t careful! But these are minor complaints and probably sound worse than it actually was. Overall it was a worth while stay and we would stay there again, we would probably just bring some pillows and some extras for comfort’s sake and preference.

I wish that I had read reviews first! When it says extended stay in it’s name I expected amenities in the room for an extended stay. Dishwasher was loaded with dishes upon arrival. There wasn’t any sponge or dish soap. I did find a dish towel. Room was not updated and did not have any handicap railings in shower or near toilet. Beds were comfortable enough but the pillows were all king size and all the same density and the pillow cases were not king size. Grab and Go breakfast was a bust. Even freshly brewed coffee was not good. Muffins, granola bars and instant oatmeal were only options. I would not stay here again.

It was an Ehhh Stay __‍♀️ I worked for ESA before so I knew what to expect. Our stay was okay. Hotel was older or a former hotel of another brand so it was confusing to see the only remodeled space was the elevator and the BBQ girls outside. Room was dirty upon entry had to reclean the room to feel comfortable. There plenty of stores near by so you can get things. Kitchen items provided were also dirty and old moldy coffee pod still in the maker was given. Buy a sponge to wash dishes. I would stay again just be aware of the addl things I need to have. It did the job for what we needed to stay for with a place with a kitchenette but I've had better experiences at other ESA locations.

Not really an ideal place to stay with others Room was cleaned “ good enough “ seem to be short staffed housekeepers that are available look to have not enough of what they need to make it through the day wasn’t able to get extra towels when I needed them , workers smoking and not even washing hands afterwards kitchen does not come equipped sheets were clean and free of stains but not an ideal place for a family stay unless you’re looking for something cheap that’s just going to get you by
