Cockroaches!!!! Absolutely the worst hotel experience I have ever had! Booked based on decent reviews and just needed a place to sleep one night while my girlfriend and I were on the first leg of our vacation. We arrived to the hotel at about 11pm and thought it odd that the parking lot only had about 5 cars. We discussed the rundown neighborhood but as it was late and we just needed somewhere to sleep a few hours agreed to check in. We were greeted at the desk and escorted to our room. The room was run down and a bit dirty. My girlfriend started looking over the room thoroughly and when she went to pull back the covers a cockroach scurried across the bed!!!! We decided that we were leaving immediately and caught the roach in a piece of toilet paper. We went roach in hand to the front desk and explained the situation and asked for a refund as we refused to stay in a room with roaches. The desk clerk said "this has happened before" she informed us she could not issue a refund and we would have to call tomorrow and speak to the manager. We left and found a room at another hotel a few miles up the freeway. I called and asked for a refund and explained the situation the next morning and was told in 7-10 days I would see the refund on my card. I will wait and see.

Great place to stay! This hotel has some very amazing staff. Anything you need they will get for you. It was very clean, the beds was so comfortable. I was very pleased staying there. I would recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

Not clean or friendly Last Econolodge for me. The carpet had not been vacuumed. One of the bedspreads was dirty. Lamps were dusty. Check in took a very long time, not sure why. Will watch my debit card statements to be sure it was done accurately. Nothing around, rough area. Just an uneasy overnight.

Dirty, smelly, and downright disgusting. Went to shower and inside the bathroom doorknob was a pair of women's panties hanging on the doorknob. On the floor of the bathroom was a razor cover. Our party of 6 people using 3 rooms was very disappointed. One of the other rooms had crusty substance on the bed sheets....rooms smelled horribly. One room had dirt spray painted and embedded in the sink.

Awesome location We drove from Michigan to Zanesville for one night so we could visit The Wilds safari park. The location was so convenient right off I-70 in downtown Zanesville. The front desk was very friendly & nice upon checking in. Walked us to our ground floor room to check room & get our ok. It was nice & clean. Yes it is an older place, but it does have some updates, the room was very comfortable, & we enjoyed our one night in Zanesville. We would definitely stay again on a future visit.
