HOTEL LA GINABELLE

Everything you need for a great experience Beautiful hotel with all needed amenities. Robes, slippers, totes were luxurious. The shower was great with amazing pressure. Easily 10 minutes accessible to the town. No cars, dogs everywhere. Scenic and picturesque. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay.

Amazing hotel with pools, spa and Matterhorn views My 10 year old son and I travelled through Switzerland by train on all the scenic routes: Bernina Express, Glacier Express and Golden Pass Route. We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights (we booked direct) and it was the best hotel of our trip. Our room was in the new annexe and was large and modern with a balcony with Matterhorn views. The room was amazing, so comfy, clean and well equipped. All the little touches really made it. The swimming pools and spa at this hotel were fantastic (though we did have to work out timings and when/where children were allowed but staff helped us out). Breakfast was good though it wasn’t clear that you had allocated tables, we were shown to a table the 1st day but someone else was sat there the 2nd day and couldn’t see any staff so just sat at another empty table nearby but halfway through breakfast was told off! However, generally the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We got a tour of the hotel when we arrived. They also sorted our transport to/from the train station and took our luggage to our room. Would definitely recommend this hotel for the comfort, amenities, the staff, and to feel relaxed and pampered. The only minor thing missing was an iron/ironing board. On the last morning I wanted to iron my shirt before travelling and went to reception to ask for an iron but the hotel doesn’t have them for guests, just a payable ironing service. This surprised me as it has every other amenity in the room. However, one small detail did not detract from our stay and I would still wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel Excellent hotel - lovely room in the newer section, charming older reception area, amazing breakfast, good bedding and soaps, am sure the spa was lovely but we didn’t have time to use it. Staff efficient and pleasant. Really would recommend.

Great hotel, would consider staying again We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was fantastic, great views and location. Without air conditioning in the room we had to open the windows and the only issue is some noise outside. Pool was great, the hours are limited and the temperature of the “hot tub” was not very hot but more lukewarm.

Beautiful views, amazing breakfast, nice pools, cozy spa Beautiful location. We went for a spring trip, no skiing, just vacation and some hiking. The pools and spa were wonderful for relaxing at the end of the day. The sauna area was a little small and secluded but was similar to other hotels I have seen. It was very well-maintained and felt new. The breakfast was incredibly good. We were given a room upgrade when we arrived, and it was very nice. There was a free afternoon snack with some sandwiches and charcuterie. We did not eat at any of the restaurants for dinner. Would highly recommend!
