When they weren't busy winning Ironman triathlons and coaching athletes to national success, the trainers behind Multisports.com spent their time like many Americans: hanging out with their favorite pooches. Eventually, the team found a way to incorporate their four-legged friends into their runs, as well. Thus, the Petco 5K9 Walk Run was born. Now a national series of 1-mile and 5K runs, the dog-friendly events promote outdoor activity while raising funds for local animal welfare groups with the help of the Petco Foundation. In addition to hitting the course with their pets, participants can also discover the latest exercise innovations during a visit to the event's health and fitness expo.
The St. George Races Moonlight 5K is one part race and one part party. When the sun sets and the moon rises over the mountains of Saint George, that's when the fun starts. DJs spin rocking tunes and the streets turn into a colorful display as people run through the city waving glow sticks, eagerly anticipating the event's awards and giveaways. Once the runners finish the fun and casual 5K, they get to explore the rest of the June Moon Jubilee, an event that includes live music, light parade, paint party, art, and more.

Extreme athletes banded together to design Reebok Spartan Races' intense courses, resulting in races strewn with more than 20 signature obstacles. These natural and man-made tests challenge mind-body fitness, resilience, stamina, and strength, and are designed to leave participants both exhausted and exhilarated.
