What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our music instructors are all professionals and have been teaching, and many also perform, for over 10 years each.
We do not simply go off of a method book system. Each teacher assesses the student level and interest.
Lessons are then tailored accordingly.
The studio is relaxing and respectful.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
We assess the needs on a per student basis. Guitar and Bass students often only need a manuscript book for the instructor to create the lesson plan. Supplemental other books may apply depending on focus. Voice often utilizes cd accompaniment.
Piano incorporates method and repertoire books.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I have been performing music over 30 years and teaching over 20.
I started at a few schools and traveled home to home.
Natural progression led to opening my own school and increasing offering of other instructors. No greater satisfaction than the monitored growth of another thru the musical arts.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing a student of any age shine as they progress. Some start very shy and uncommunicative. Music taps into a visceral part of the soul.
Unleashing that positive energy is a charge for everyone.
title: Napoli School of Music and Dance
There’s no water underneath Napoli School of Music and Dance’s floating dance floor. Instead, there’s high-density foam, which absorbs precise steps, occasional stumbles, and the dog pile that ends every classical ballet. Atop the foam lies marley, the same vinyl composite surface used in Riverdance. Within this professionally equipped studio, Napoli’s experienced dance faculty teaches small groups of aspiring dancers, starting with three- to five-year-olds in creative movement sessions. For older students, instructors focus on an array of dance styles, from the axel turns of jazz to the heel clicks of tap.
Similarly proficient teachers – including graduates of Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music—staff Napoli’s music faculty. During one-on-one sessions, they focus on each student’s specific musical goals and interests, always drawing examples from pupils’ favorite musical styles. While instructors of guitar, bass, and drums train the next generation of arena rockers, woodwind and brass teachers guide players through classical clarinet melodies or jazzy trumpet solos.
Pennsylvania Ballet has deep ties to dance history. The company was formed in 1963 by Barbara Weisberger, a protégé of the great George Balanchine. Perhaps due to that remarkable connection, the ballet's mission has always been to celebrate the classics. An annual staging of Balanchine's The Nutcracker and other favorites pay tribute to dance's traditional beauty. But the artists still look to the future of the art form, which surprisingly doesn't

Q&A with Mike Bulboff, Owner
Besides making clients happy, what do you like most about your job?
Every day, we meet customers from all over the world who play their own unique styles of accordion music. It's like going to a concert in a new country every day.
When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
I found my father's dusty old accordion in the attic at age 17. Since that first encounter, we've had about 3,000 accordions come and go, and I have seen and played every kind you can think of.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
We play every one of our instruments on our YouTube channel: user libertybellows.
Daniel Cullen, founder of Rawk U School of Music, is already frets ahead of most music instructors, and a living defiance of the adage that "those who can't do, teach." It's not just because he attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music, or that he's toured the nation with his musical projects; Cullen rocks out in Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones cover bands when he's not instilling young players with shredding skills. Embracing the fact the best way to learn to play is by learning the songs you love, Cullen and the crew of Rawk U School of Music light the path for budding players with Rock Classes that usually culminate in public performances, giving students the confidence to play before crowds and the experience to outrun groupies like a pro.
