Armed with an army of innovative and certified shutterbugs, Olan Mills Portrait Studio provides families with high-quality portraits, continuing a mission that was established more than 75 years ago by founder Olan Mills Sr. Skilled in the art of capturing infants, children, families, and bunny-ears-giving ghost orbs on film, Olan Mills’s experienced smile snappers will take a series of poses amid a variety of backgrounds and lighting options. The studio is equipped with a selection of props—including numbers for birthdays, toys, and boxes—and patrons may bring their own photo-enlivening items from home. The resulting photos find their way to prints in natural color, black and white, or sepia tones; they can also be immortalized in the studio's signature Old Masters style, a canvas brushed with highlights to recreate look of an oil painting. Like the gentlemanly mariners of ages past with their full schedule of sea-battles, the photographers welcome appointments, but do not require them.
Couples, families, and children assume positions amid one of eight sets including a Wild West–inspired saloon, a log cabin, or a Victorian parlor and pose for experienced professional photographers at Three Sisters Old Time Photos. Women posing for boudoir photos may also opt for the sets, or more traditional boudoir set-ups, such as near a neutral window with drapes. The photographers have over 30 years of combined experience and have snapped shots for brand names such as Reebok. Black-and-white, sepia, and color prints are ready mere minutes after the session.
At Buster's Old Time Photos, subjects don costumes and pose for photos that place them in eras such as the Old West of the 1880s and the Roaring Twenties. Sepia and muted photographs portray costume wearers as outlaws, gamblers, pirates, Southern belles, and showgirls, complete with props and set pieces such as a saloon. Different locations offer different costumes and themes, such as gangster or Victorian.
Miss Julie’s Old Time Photo invites visitors to don a flashy costume and relive the past with fun, glamorous portraits. Couples, kids, families, and even pets dress up like 1920s gangsters, Victorian gentlefolk, cowboys, and saloon patrons in period-piece surroundings. Each photo arrives in full color, black and white, or misty sepia tone, with custom-made Ozark frames available to display portraits.
