Armed with an army of innovative and certified shutterbugs, Olan Mills Portrait Studio provides families with high-quality portraits, continuing a mission that was established more than 75 years ago by founder Olan Mills Sr. Skilled in the art of capturing infants, children, families, and bunny-ears-giving ghost orbs on film, Olan Mills’s experienced smile snappers will take a series of poses amid a variety of backgrounds and lighting options. The studio is equipped with a selection of props—including numbers for birthdays, toys, and boxes—and patrons may bring their own photo-enlivening items from home. The resulting photos find their way to prints in natural color, black and white, or sepia tones; they can also be immortalized in the studio's signature Old Masters style, a canvas brushed with highlights to recreate look of an oil painting. Like the gentlemanly mariners of ages past with their full schedule of sea-battles, the photographers welcome appointments, but do not require them.
Music Master Disc Jockeys president Andrew Byrd and his team of experienced DJs have been spinning tunes at weddings, birthdays, and corporate events since 1984. All in all, the company has soundtracked more than 4,000 weddings, allowing clients to custom-tailor their playlists to taste. Music Master Disc Jockeys also offers a variety of accompanying services, including special effects such as video screens, projections, and light shows that pulse to the beat of the music.
Jumptastic turns kids' parties into carnival-style fantasy parks with a stable of mobile party attractions. Kids can careen over the plush surfaces of Jumptastic's various inflatable rentals, which include conventional bounce houses, slides, and obstacle courses. Inflatable waterslides give partygoers a cool respite from the heat, and slip-and-slides let adults demonstrate various coefficients of friction to their children. Cries of choo-choo precede verses of "Happy Birthday" when parties enlist the trackless trains, which can seat up to six children and are drivable on most surfaces. Jumptastic also rents out popular party fixtures such as bocce ball, cornhole, and dunk tanks.
Bouncy Zone Inflatables helps take the stress out of planning kids' birthday parties by providing bouncy diversions for pint-size party-goers. A staff technician will arrive up to an hour before the party starts to set up and inflate the bounce house, and customers can choose from a variety of options. Each of these inflatables?such as a medieval-themed bounce with a basketball hoop on the inside?has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, and gets safely secured before the party starts. To satisfy bouncing party-goers who've worked up an appetite, Bouncy Zone also rents treat carts that dole out sweets such as cotton candy and popcorn.
The team at Tutus and Tennis Shoes specialize in entertaining youngsters with a variety of party options. During royal-themed festivities, the civilian birthday girl and her guests transform into princesses thanks to a costume chest brimming with gowns, tiaras, and pearls. Pop-star costumes replace glamorous gowns during Diva Rock Star parties, whereas co-ed Princesses and Pirates parties allow boys to get in on the fun by donning swashbuckling outfits. Dress-up is just one facet of the themed parties, however. They can also be tailored to include activities such as karaoke, fashion shows, and spa treatments, along with tasty snacks and icy beverages. For maximum convenience, festivities can take place onsite at the decorated party venue or in the comfort of the host’s home.
In addition to parties, the staff also hosts etiquette classes where children learn the art of apologizing, sharing, and table manners. The focus turns to dining during princess-etiquette sessions, where young girls don fancy threads before learning how to correctly use utensils and bestow knighthood with a soup ladle.
