Purgatory Golf Club is a resort quality golf course in Noblesville, Indiana, just north of Indianapolis. The course covers 218 acres and is dedicated solely to golf. There are a minimum of six tees on each hole, so the course tempts golfers of all skill levels. When played from the front tees at only 4,562 yards, Purgatory is one of the shortest courses in Indiana. When played from the back tees at over 7,700 yards, Purgatory is the longest. Bent grass covers the course from tee to green. Tall fescue grasses offer contrast, beauty, and a playing challenge. One of the club's defining features is the bunkering. There are over 125 bunkers on the course. These bunkers define the holes visually and outline many of the fairways.
