Performers feed off the energy of their audience, and when there is no audience, there is no energy. To stop this problem before it starts, venues turn to Fill A Seat, a business that supplies its members with tickets to events that still have seats to fill. Members enjoy a year of entry to popular shows and events, bulking up the audience more suitably than a litter of chihuahuas dressed in tuxedos. Upon joining Fill A Seat, members are granted access to reserve free tickets online at no cost for upcoming events such as sporting events, concerts, theater, and comedy shows.
Taste of Town Square brings 23 of the best restaurants in Las Vegas to Town Square Park for a two-day charity and dining event. Amid a lively atmosphere filled with live music and demonstrations, diners can enjoy everything from barbecue and pizza to steak and shrimp at one of three themed meals, each featuring samples from a variety of participating restaurants:
Tour de Fork & Mixology: Foodies can find plenty to like at this fancier affair, including bites from Crazy Pita, Loco Cantina, and more plus cocktail-making demonstrations from local mixologists. (Benefits New Vista Community.)
Social Dinner: Open only to adults 21 and older, a cocktail hour kicks off a four-course moonlit dinner with food from Tommy Bahama and Fleming's Steakhouse. (Benefits Nevada Public Radio.)
The Southwest Tea Fest celebrates one of the world's most popular drinks with a one-day festival devoted to all things tea. Attendees can drink their fill during tastings, learn how to perfect their morning cups with brewing demonstrations, and snag free samples from vendors. Tea lovers can broaden their tea-making horizons during speaker events, including Noli Ergas's presentation to dispel matcha myths and Elyse Petersen's presentation on how to cultivate a direct-trade relationship with a tea producer, even as a consumer.
Surrounded by a sprawling shopping center that features restaurants, stores and salons, the Regal Village Square 18 is one of Vegas’ many multiplex theaters. But rather than succumb to the noise and chaos of some other chain theater houses, Regal Village Square 18 maintains a quieter, more serene environment. Patrons have the luxury of watching most new releases from plush seats, while 3D images scream past. Other high-quality screens show films in standard formats, and everyone can enjoy the stocked concession stand, lined with the usual assortment of colorful candy snacks. Looming sodas, dangerously piled popcorn tubs and heartier fare like pizza, nachos, corn dogs and chicken nuggets round out the offerings.
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I am very passionate about the results my clients see. I want to see them succeed and love themselves. I tailor my training based on their weight loss, toning, conditioning, or nutritional goals.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
I hold my clients accountable for when they are in to see me. We push for maximum results and clients are asked to keep a food diary to monitor nutrition intake.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I struggled with being underweight for most of my life. In my 20's I gained weight but had no muscle so I was skinny fat. I hated myself and did not feel healthy. I decided to make a change for myself and now I want to do the same for others.
What do you love most about your job?
Watching people change the way they view themselves is priceless. It is not my job to determine the goals of my clients, it's my job to work through with them what they are looking for and helping them stay on track while pushing for their max results, while reaching goals.
