East Orlando Animal Hospital is led by a team of five veterinary doctors, each of whom came to the field for different reasons. For example, one first learned to care for animals while growing up on a Tennessee farm, while another was inspired by the challenge that comes with caring for a patent who can't tell you what's wrong. One thing all the doctors have in common? A love for animals.
They're all pet owners too, and treat all their patients as if they were members of their own family. Not only do they offer checkups, microchip implants, and surgeries, they also use cutting-edge stem-cell therapy to treat pets suffering from chronic pain and inflammation. The facility is also home to a pet spa, where they trim nails, condition coats, and soothe faces with blueberry facials, as well as daycare and boarding facilities where pets can socialize under the care of trained staff members while their owners are away.
Dr. Josh Kindred and his team of pet-loving vet technicians have dedicated their small practice to providing personalized care for each critter they see. Recognized as an accredited practice by the American Animal Hospital Association, Kindred's intimate care center handles an array of diagnostic and treatment procedures, including laser surgery, x-rays and ultrasounds, dental care, and immunizations. Dr. Josh and crew also host overnight guests for owners traveling out of town, providing supervised care in a climate-controlled kennel. During their stay, pets can safely frolic and share plates of spaghetti in the outdoor enclosure of the recently added play area. While pups romp around the grass, staffers keep their well-trained eyes peeled for behavioral changes, allowing each fuzzy face to enjoy a safe and pleasant residency.
Each of the four veterinarians at Tuscawilla Oaks Animal Hospital own pets, meaning that the staff understands the compassion and care that animals need. This compassion helped to earn the hospital the _Seminole Voice_’s 2012 award for Best Pet Care, and it impacts everything from basic checkups, to routine vaccinations, to surgery. In addition to treating any make and model of cat or dog, the staff also cares for birds and the nonvenomous reptiles that run the shadow governments of unincorporated towns.
With two locations, Atlantic Animal Hospitals doesn't take time off from ensuring the health of cats, dogs, and exotic pets. Their veterinarians and assistants work seven days a week, administering all sorts of care: general exams, dermatology, dentistry, surgery, and other services. They can also board pets that need a vacation.
The veterinarians and veterinary technicians of Seven Oaks Pet Hospital coddle cats, dogs, and rabbits and other small mammals under the close supervision of Dunkin, the clinic's resident kitty. In addition to regular wellness exams and vaccines, the pet hospital offers dental and surgical care, pain management, and microchipping so you'll know when your teenage bulldog breaks curfew. For furry friends that need a little extra TLC, they also offer holistic medicine and behavioral medicine.
If pets can't join their human families on a Caribbean cruise or a Parisian getaway, they should at least stay somewhere comfortable. At Paddock Park Animal Care Center's sprawling, homey facilities, four-legged family members have their pick of indoor runs, outdoor play areas, and kennels outfitted for optimal relaxation. A caring staff pampers boarders, and skilled veterinarians address the health of each pet with both traditional and herbal medicines that tackle heart disease, dermatological issues, and arthritis brought on by incessant poker playing.
