Originating in Los Angeles and helmed by experienced director Amy Allen, L.A. Acting Workshop transplants theatrical knowledge to the minds of fledgling actors, training them in diverse disciplines in order to ready them for careers in the dramatic fields. Level I classes held Tuesday nights for seminar-style sessions designed to polish existing skills and provide insight into interviews, cold readings, and soap-opera auditions, including lessons on coming in and out of comas at will. Classes help actors build confidence and learn to market themselves successfully to agents and other powerhouse professionals in the entertainment industry.
