The Dreamshaper's workshop is a spin-off of the Develop Your Dreams Career Planning Co. It was started to help aspiring models/actors jumpstart their careers. If you've wasted money & been deceived by shady characters, we want to provide an honest resource. Learn from teachers who have been there.
What do you love most about your job?
We love giving our students the edge and confidence they need to be successful. Sometimes a small piece of advice can change everything. Students are overjoyed to know they have someone rooting for them in their corner. It feels wonderful to support them!
Having studied ballet, tap dance, and Greek folk dance in her youth, Maria Kyriakakis has cultivated a lifelong fervor for world music, movement, and fitness. Her husband Pedro Goncalves—a dancer trained at London Contemporary Dance School—studied Eagle Claw kung fu, becoming one of only six people in the world to receive certification from Grandmaster Leung Shum. Today, the espoused duo leads dance and martial-arts training sessions in a studio that looks for all the world like the setting for Neo and Morpheus' first fight in The Matrix. Inside, under a vaulted ceiling, a team of instructors—including Zumba instructors Maria and Ariella—holds dance-fitness classes, and Northern style Eagle Claw kung fu classes.

Bar Academy 101 emphasizes hands-on learning during courses at a 24/7 model bar, where students can spend unlimited hours practicing the two main skills of bartending: mixing drinks and pouring them into patrons’ outstretched hands. Robert shares the skills he has learned in the field at the school’s glossy wooden bar stations, which feature tools and bottles much like those found in typical watering holes. This hands-on learning ensures that pupils are prepared for job placement at the end of courses. Robert meets one-on-one with graduates, matching them with openings in local bars and restaurants.

Green Flag Driving Experience deals in adrenaline. At its racetrack, novice drivers and advanced rubber burners alike get to feel the heady rush of epinephrine as they man a car that can reach speeds in excess of 100 mph while manning the cockpit of a racecar. Drivers choose their rides from a fleet of TQ Midgets or a selection of Legends cars, 5/8-scale replicas of autos from the Golden Age of American engineering when men were men and cars were powered by miniature locomotives. Before sliding behind their chosen wheel, each driver goes through an introduction and orientation that cover safety skills and handling basics. Then the Green Flag Driving Experience instructors keep watch as their pupils don provided helmets and suits, buckle up, and hit the pavement. Afterward, the instructors provide a thorough critique that helps the budding Andrettis maneuver with even more finesse on their next time around the track.
