Breakthrough Tattoo, Spring

Breakthrough Tattoo is the studio of Texas State Board of Health–licensed artists Bill Walker and Wes Demise, who have been inking blank skin canvases for 16 and 17 years, respectively. As the experienced artists add indelible ink to skin, they keep prioritize cleanliness and sterilization by using handmade, single-use needles. They sterilize these needles with an autoclave, which itself is tested for spores each month. Bill and Wes post their portfolios online, which allows clients a preview of the drama they’ll see portrayed on their skin, like a trailer for a movie that Disney animators will draw directly on you.
