After Meredith Tong earned her associate's degree in massage therapy from Stautzenberger College, she snatched up her massage license and opened Time Out Therapeutics, LLC. In addition to Swedish, deep-tissue, and trigger-point therapy, Meredith uses her interest in physical therapy to help clients reach new levels of health and fitness. She uses sports massage to buttress the body's immune system, increase kinesthetic awareness, and nurture injured sinews. This technique can also prevent injuries and prolong athletic careers by increasing flexibility, soothing swollen tissues, and calming the mind. Meredith's own athletic background informs her massage method as she helps individual athletes and teams achieve peak performance on the day of their marathons, dance competitions, and pogo-stick relays.
